Jamilla’s Events Decorated Fashion Show

We had the honor of sharing our talents and decorating for The Sealed Nectar Fashion Show — “40 Years of Sunnah Elegance”

This show holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been part of it for 17 years, 10 of those as Model Coordinator. When I stepped back from coordinating, it wasn’t goodbye — I knew I still wanted to be part of this legacy. So when I was asked to design the show for the 40th anniversary, it was an easy yes.

My mom brought her signature touch to this one — the mannequins are her thing, and she dressed them to reflect the modesty and beauty this show has always celebrated.
Gold drapes and custom arches tied it all together.

From the centerpieces to the elegant standees, the compliments haven’t stopped coming in. 🥰

And thank you to everyone who’s been a fan of our work and a true supporter of our growth — it’s the community’s support that anchored us from day one and gave us a reason to build a space for celebration and gathering.

This one felt like home! The guests, the music, the vibe 👌🏽
The benefit of being on the south side is being close to our classmates — this wedding was basically a mini high school reunion.

To our surprise, Toyea was referred by her sister Chan Lee — we were in marching band together! Many thanks 💛💛

Then during rehearsal, our drum major walks in 👀 I AM... 🎧, who Chan books all the time. 💛💚😌
