We here at Faire Play Adventures wanted to check in and wish everyone merriment and good wine as we embark on this fight against this dark plague that has come into our lands.

We hope wherever you are, your adventure is swift and painless during these times and ends in a most excellent celebration as we do value the safety and well being of others.

We would like to ask you, the Adventurer when we were open, if you were able to attend. What was your favorite moment of your quest throughout the days of Sherwood Forest Faire?

Sad news: Due to issues related to the virus we will be unable to present the LARP this weekend (Saturday March 14th and Sunday March 15th). Sherwood will be open however so we hope to see later in the season, Updates will be posted here. Thank you for your understanding from a group with several risk factors under orders from multiple doctors :(

This weekend our story was "Monsters!" - a Pixie named Toot Toot played a prank on Sherwood that got out of hand. She invented a monster she called the "Boogersnack" - started rumors and planted all kinds of "evidence". A few adventurers even helped her by creating a costume and pretending to be the creature. Trouble is - an actual monster (the Bandersnatch) was drawn by the stories and the fear. The Wizard told our heroes that stories are often more powerful than the truth. Some brave souls put on the Boogersnack costume and faced the Bandersnatch. Myth and legend faced bared fangs and talons. Some blood was spilled but the monster was driven away! Huzzah!!

The first weekend of our first season was a lot of fun! We also learned a lot and will doing some tweaking to get things running as smoothly as possible. Thank you to everyone who came out to play and to support us!

IMPORTANT - check in with us at the Faire Play Outpost behind the Blacksmith by the Main Gate - we will only go to the Beer Tent when we have a large enough group to make it worth while. smaller groups all just do morning meeting at the Outpost. Thanks!
