I believe if you’re not learning, you’re falling behind.

Many states have already implemented new requirements regarding floodplain certifications, and Pennsylvania is expected to follow. Rather than waiting for the changes, I wanted to be proactive and add another tool to our toolbox.

I recently had the opportunity to attend the National Society of Professional Surveyors’ Certified Floodplain Surveyor course. It was an intense class with a challenging exam, but I’m excited to share that I officially passed and am now a Certified Floodplain Surveyor (CFS)!

This is another step in our commitment at A To Z Land Consulting Services to stay at the forefront of our profession and provide the best possible service to our clients.

So A to Z sponsored a team at the wounded warriors fund raiser shoot today in Hagerstown. And yes I know two people work for A to Z and one is my daughter. Charlie was on Ely’s trap team. We shot good enough to get a 3rd place trophy! Feels so weird being the oldest on a team lol. I’ve been shooting longer that they have been alive 🤦🏻‍♂️.
But point is we all had fun and we helped raise money for a great cause.

I been crazy busy and haven’t leaned into this much but I want to do a couple things this year to celebrate this milestone!

What a night! Couldn’t be more proud of this company and all the people involved with it!
My longtime friend presented me with the award, which made it so much better. We were both worried about getting emotional, but we held it together. Got a picture with Jesse Topper and the certificate he gave us. Thanks to the Chamber for everything they do for our community!
