We're a week away with more live music in Mt. Shasta, at the Redwood Gallery (https://www.redwood.gallery/). The Dirty Cello duo are in town with their jazz, funk sound Friday evening, Nov. 21st, 7-9 pm.

The McCloud River Music series is honored to host legendary Irish singer Irvine. Andy is appearing at the ,325 Lawndale Court, next week, Wed. One of the great Irish singers, Andy's voice is one of a handful of truly great ones that gets to the very soul of Ireland.

Musician, singer, songwriter, Andy has maintained his highly individual performing skills throughout his over 60-year career with legendary bands like Sweeney’s Men in the mid 60s, to the enormous success of Planxty in the 70s, and then Patrick Street, Mozaik, LAPD and recently Usher’s Island.

As a soloist, Andy is a troubadour traveling his first US tour in many years with a show and a travelling lifestyle that reflect his lifelong influence.

Shasta Mountain Music is very excited to partner with Maria and Derek Miller, owners of Mt Shasta's Redwood Art Gallery, to produce a series of music performances. The gallery is located at 209 N. Mount Shasta Blvd.

Our first event at the Redwood Gallery is next week, Tuesday Oct 14th with music from 7-9 p.m (Door opens at 6:00 pm). We'll feature the outstanding musicianship and storytelling of Celtic trio Amhránaithe (pronounced Aw-raw—nee. = Irish word for chorus/ singers).

This new series will host soloists, duos and the occasional trio, featuring musicians getting their start touring or more established musicians trying out new material or arrangements. Shasta Mountain Music is thrilled that Maria and Derek agreed to host a series of our performances.

Tickets are $20 per person with 100% of ticket proceeds going to the band. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by pre purchase through the Redwood Gallery website: http://www.redwood.gallery

Doors will open at 6:00, chairs will be available at the gallery. For this event we can allow for BYOB, so bring your favorite beverage and we'll have a few snacks to share.

Our next performance on our outdoor stage is Saturday Sept. 6th, 7-9 pm at the McCloud River Bed & Breakfast.

We're excited to feature more top shelf bluegrass/jamgrass with Never Come Down. The band is described by fellow musicians like the Travelin' McCourys and The Infamous Stringdusters as "top-notch musicians and great original songwriters." Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Never Come Down offers a unique blend of West Coast bluegrass vibes, featuring top notch musicianship, high-energy tempos, and emotive vocal harmonies.

Never Come Down has toured internationally and performed to enthusiastic crowds at festivals such as Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Iceland Airways, John Hartford Memorial Fest, Americanafest, Fresh Grass and Rocky Grass.

We are thrilled to host these outstanding musicians. They're on our stage this Saturday evening from 7-9 pm. This will be our last outdoor performance in 2025 before we move indoors for the remainder of our schedule, featuring more fantastic bluegrass and music from the Celtic lands.

Please bring your chairs or blankets, please - no pets. Beer, wine and soft drinks are available throughout the performance. Pre-event dinners are available 4:30 to 6:30 from the bnb. Julie says reservations are recommended for dinner. You can reach the BnB at 530-964-2130

This Friday night (Aug 29th) 7-9 pm at the McCloud River Bed & Breakfast McCloud River Mountain Music presents Wolf Jett!

Yep, they will make you dance, sing. . .and possibly even howl!

A different sound for our outdoor stage blending country, roots/Americana with blues. It'll be a grand ol' time with an amazing line-up of musicians, including the percussion of Jon Payne holding the beat with "endlessly groovy drums" and Chris Jone's guitar work, staying true to his Smoky Mountain roots.

Music festivals tend to produce at least one band where music lovers will crowd the stage, with the buzz 'that's the one!' Wolf Jett was that band at the Davis Music Fest, so we're excited to finally book 'em for our stage.

The weather forecast looks great for Wolf Jett's performance. Bring your dancing feet, as well as your chairs or blankets, please - no pets.
