We have a few special people that will pop in throughout the year if their schedules allow for subbing, choreography, and recital fun… Ms. Lauren, Ms. Reagan, and Ms. Sam! They are a part of our M.A.D. family, too! 💜🩵

✨ It’s time to meet the final teacher in our teacher spotlight series… Ms. Alyce!

Ms. Alyce is our Artistic Director, Company Director, and rounds out our ownership team alongside Ms. Abby and Ms. Laurel! In fact, Ms. Alyce is the only full-time employee the studio has. She does a little bit of everything—from the nitty-gritty cleaning to mind-blowing choreography, directing our annual opening show for recital, selecting and editing music, choosing costumes for Company classes, and SO much more!

Ms. Alyce is truly the heart of M.A.D., and we always love seeing what she puts onstage! 🌟

Ms. Abby wears A LOT of hats around the studio! From teaching our Tiny Tots and Monday Combo classes to helping with office work, planning, organizing, creating, and many behind-the-scenes details that keep M.A.D. running, she truly does a little bit of everything! ✨💻🩰

Ms. Abby loves watching children learn, grow, build confidence, and—most importantly—be unapologetically themselves. ☀️

🌟 Let’s meet another member of our amazing teaching team… the one who started it all, Ms. Laurel!!

🩰 Ms. Laurel opened M.A.D. in 2008 at just 25 years old! She now teaches Pre-K full time at Lake View and stays busy with her two children, so her role at the studio has changed over the years. We are so grateful that she will be teaching our Petite Company again this year and, as always, blessing us by being our costume coordinator! She picks out all of the costumes for our recreational classes and does a phenomenal job! 💫

Both of Ms. Laurel’s children have danced at M.A.D., and her daughter Kate is currently a member of Junior Company! M.A.D. is truly a family affair! 💗

Ms. Danielle will be teaching our combo and hip hop classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays this year! We can always count on her to bring her energy and love of dance to any style and any age! 💜

We are so grateful to have Ms. Danielle teaching with us again! And we love that she brings another special part of our M.A.D. family with her—her daughter, Madisyn! 💕 Madisyn is a member of Company and also serves as a student teacher at the studio! We are so lucky to have both of them as part of our M.A.D. family! 🥰

✨ Say hello to our next featured teacher… Ms. Jenna!

Ms. Jenna is returning to teach acro in our Monday 5:30 class, and we are SO excited to have her back this year! 🤸‍♀️

She taught at M.A.D. years ago, so having her return to the studio—now with her own two daughters dancing with us—makes this full-circle moment even more special! 🥰

✨ Our next teacher spotlight is Ms. Olivia!

We are so happy that Ms. Olivia will be returning this year to teach acro! She started teaching with us last year, and we have already seen so much growth from her students in such a short time!

Olivia also danced at M.A.D. as a student, so having her return to teach for us means so much. 💜 All 3 of today’s teacher spotlights really show that !

✨Ms. Jolie is starting college this week and will be working with our Company dancers this year (and anywhere her schedule allows).

She danced with us for 15 years and student taught for many years, so we are elated she will be stepping into a teaching role this year! 🩰

✨ Ms. Whitney is teaching our Monday and Thursday combo and hip hop classes alongside Ms. Abby and Ms. Danielle.

We are thrilled Whitney is teaching for M.A.D. She started dancing with us in a preschool combo class and will now be teaching preschoolers. 🥰
