Jumping into your feeds today to share our June shop calendar, alongside the bittersweet news that McCall Made is closing at the end of June. A steep decline in visitors/sales since the start of this year, combined with the reality of rent being raised this summer, has left us with no choice but to shutter the physical storefront in downtown McCall and move on for now.

McCall Made has always been run by local, working artists who donated all of their time in the shop and behind the scenes, and we just don't have the combined or sustained capital to fund the business ourselves any longer than we have since sales stuttered so substantially this year, especially considering increased expenses on the horizon.

It's been a sincerely wonderful run, and we can't thank you enough for the support and love we've received throughout the duration of our time at 305 E. Park Street.

McCall Made will be open a bunch of days in June, and if you've had your eye on a piece of art for awhile now, and/or just want to come in to support the many talented makers we have with us in the shop, now is the time to come in and buy all of the locally-sourced gifts!

100% of proceeds from sales in June will go back to local artists.

McCall Made has been a tangible reminder that our community (and our beloved West Central Mountains) is filled with a dynamic and growing assortment of artisans. We're incredibly proud to have celebrated, showcased, and paid nearly 60 of them for as long as we did. If there's an opportunity to sustainably revive the business model in the future [whether via an online or a physical storefront, or something else entirely], rest assured that McCall Made will be back.

THANK YOU for your continued support, and for coming on this journey with us for as long as you have. We're incredibly grateful for this community, and for the lessons we've learned along the way.

SPRING is coming, eventually [hang in there, everyone], and in the meantime, the shop is already starting to showcase the seasonal shift—with bright pops of color, cards for any occasion, and NEW items from new local artists who have joined McCall Made in the past week!

Stop into 305 E. Park Street, Suite C [right next to the rock shop] to see what's new and take home thoughtfully-curated gifts from a bevy of local makers. Every sale supports local artists [our favorite sort of win-win], and at this point McCall Made is essentially 60 artists strong, and still growing.

Until spring officially joins us here in the West Central Mountains, we're open four days a week: Tuesdays and Saturdays, 11 AM to 4 PM, and Thursdays and Fridays, 1-4 PM.

We often showcase special Friday, Monday, and Wednesday hours, too, and will be adding more hours/days to our schedule this spring and summer. Stay tuned here on social media for the latest scoop on daily hours and shop updates.

THANK YOU for your ongoing support, and for showing up for local artists. It really does make a BIG difference in our community when you do.

Thank you for the local love, McCall Chamber! We already have over 50 talented local artisans with us in the shop, and we're going to be adding new artists to the shop in upcoming weeks, too—so if you haven't been in McCall Made for a minute, be sure to stop by to meet so many of the talented makers living and working in the West Central Mountains.

Join McCall Made maker and local ceramics artist Kim of at the shop on Saturday, February 11 from 5:30-7:30 PM for a hands-on, in-person workshop.

All participants will get to learn more about screenprinting and watercoloring on ceramics, and will also get to design a small, versatile cup handmade by Kim!

This is going to be such a fun workshop, and would make such a great Valentine's Day gift for your significant other and/or a memorable way to spend an evening with a group of friends.

Spots are limited, so don't wait too long to sign up!

We’re back from a restorative holiday break and open again all day today [Saturday] until 5 PM.

HAPPY 2023 and thank you again for a sincerely wonderful holiday season. [Our best holiday season yet, in fact!] We're so grateful for the support of our beloved locals and visitors alike, and we're equally grateful for the opportunity to take a post-holiday deep breath before jumping back into business as usual.

The shop will be open TUESDAY-SATURDAY next week: January 17-21st.

THANK YOU for a wonderful 2022, and for supporting local artists this holiday season [& all year long]!

We’re the sort of exhausted only December can yield, and oh so grateful, too. This past week / month / year has us feeling very merry and bright.

The shop [and the small crew of humans running it] are going to take a little break to catch our respective and collective breaths after our second [& record-breaking!] holiday hustle.

Heading into Thanksgiving week with heaps of gratitude. The shop will be open TUESDAY-SATURDAY this week, closed on Thanksgiving Day, of course. Come celebrate local makers with us and get a headstart on your holiday shopping!
