Summer II Internship Opportunity 🐶
Yaqui Animal Rescue is seeking two motivated students for Summer II internships. Interns will work approximately 20 hours per week and gain hands-on experience in nonprofit animal rescue, including animal care, education, marketing, fundraising, public relations, and special events. Most assignments can be completed remotely, though interns may be asked to drive 1–2 days per week. Internship opportunities may extend into the Fall semester based on performance and availability.
Media & Creative Services Intern
* Create and manage social media content
* Utilize Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
* Photography, videography, and video editing skills
* Understanding of branding, digital marketing, and storytelling
* Experience with content scheduling and website management preferred
Development & Event Planning Intern
* Interest in fundraising, nonprofit development, and event planning
* Experience with events, volunteer coordination, or community outreach
* Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
* Experience with donor relations, sponsorships, or promotional content
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar software
* Availability to assist with occasional evening and weekend events
