🎭Senior Spotlight: Luna Galvan 🎭

Over the past four years, Luna Galvan has been a passionate leader and dedicated performer in MHS Theatre and the International Thespian Society, serving as troupe president. Through every production, Luna brought creativity, confidence, and unforgettable energy to the stage while helping lead and inspire those around her.

One of her favorite roles was Alice Beineke, a character she loved portraying because it gave her the opportunity to fully embrace an eccentric wife and mother while having fun, going all out, and truly being herself on stage.

Luna’s theatre journey included performances in James and the Giant Peach, Freaky Friday, Chemical Imbalance, The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Cover of Life, The Deception of Kathryn Vask, Almost, Maine, Something Rotten!, 33 Variations, What I Did Last Summer, The Addams Family, and Things I Know to Be True. In addition to her work on stage, Luna has represented Troupe 769 at the state level in theatrical design twice and earned 2nd place in Hair and Makeup Design this year, showcasing her creativity and dedication to every aspect of theatre. ✨

After graduation, Luna plans to attend STC to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. 🩺📚

Her advice to future thespians is to always be yourself and never let anyone or anything stop you from doing what you love. In the end, your future and happiness are determined by staying true to who you are.

🎭Senior Spotlight: Adrienne Comple 🎭

Over the past four years, Adrienne Comple has been an incredible part of MHS Theatre and the International Thespian Society, serving as troupe vice president. Through every production, Adrienne brought passion, leadership, and dedication both on and off the stage.

Some of her favorite roles were Bea Bottom and Fran, two characters that allowed her to portray strong women while expanding her range and experience as an actress. These performances helped shape her love for storytelling and challenged her to grow creatively with every show.

Adrienne’s theatre journey included James and the Giant Peach, Freaky Friday, Chemical Imbalance, The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Cover of Life, Lord of the Pies, The Deception of Kathryn Vask, Almost, Maine, Something Rotten, 33 Variations, The Language Archive, What I Did Last Summer, and Things I Know to Be True. Throughout her time with Troupe 769, she helped create unforgettable memories and meaningful connections that will last far beyond high school.

After graduation, Adrienne will attend UTSA to study Global Affairs. 🌎📚

Her advice to future thespians is to never be afraid to be vulnerable and to allow yourself to fully express your emotions because those moments of honesty are what make theatre so powerful and meaningful.

🎭Senior Spotlight: Meagan Martinez🎭

For the past four years, Meagan Martinez has been a dedicated part of MHS Theatre and the International Thespian Society, serving as troupe secretary. Throughout her time with Troupe 769, she helped create unforgettable memories both on and off the stage while building strong friendships through every production and competition season.

One of Meagan’s favorite theatre memories was traveling, competing, and sharing countless laughs during each round of UIL One Act Play competitions. Those experiences made her theatre journey especially meaningful and created memories she will always cherish.

Her productions with MHS Theatre include James and the Giant Peach, Freaky Friday, Chemical Imbalance, Fortress, The Play That Goes Wrong, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Cover of Life, The Deception of Kathryn Vask, Something Rotten, The Addams Family, and Things I Know to Be True.

After graduation, Meagan will attend UTRGV to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology. 🧬📚

Her advice to future thespians is to try everything and never hold yourself back. Always remember why you love theatre and know that every role, experience, and moment matters.

For the past four years, Jadyn Puente has been an important part of MHS Theatre as both a talented technician and a dedicated member of the International Thespian Society, serving as troupe treasurer. Throughout her theatre journey, Jadyn discovered her passion through lighting design, the role that first inspired her love for theatre and allowed her creativity to shine behind the scenes.

Her time with Troupe 769 included work on James and the Giant Peach, Freaky Friday, Chemical Imbalance, Fortress, The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Cover of Life, Lord of the Pies, The Deception of Katheryn Vask, Almost, Maine, 33 Variations, The Language Archives, The Addams Family, and Things I Know to Be True. She also took on leadership roles through student directing, helping bring productions to life both on and off the stage.

After graduation, Jadyn will attend UTRGV to study Mass Communications. 📚🎭

🎭Senior Spotlight: Mikel Aguinaga 🎭
Over the past four years in MHS Theatre, Mikel Aguinaga has been a dedicated leader, teammate, and member of the International Thespian Society. One of his favorite experiences was serving as stage manager for The Addams Family musical, where he was able to connect with both the cast and crew while gaining a deeper understanding of what it takes to run a successful production. That experience opened his eyes to new possibilities and helped him grow both personally and creatively.

Throughout his time with Troupe 769, Mikel participated in James and the Giant Peach, Freaky Friday, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Catherine Vask, Something Rotten, 33 Variations, and The Addams Family. His hard work and dedication helped make each production memorable.

After graduation, Mikel will attend UTRGV, where he plans to double major in Hospitality and Nutrition with a minor in Biochemistry. 📚

His advice to future thespians is to lean on your classmates and directors because theatre is built on teamwork and family. Challenges become easier when people support one another, and the bonds created through theatre are what make the experience truly special.

Over the past two years in MHS Theatre, Enoc Garcia has made a lasting impact both on and off the stage through his dedication, passion, and memorable performances. One of his favorite roles was Ben Price, a character that allowed him to express genuine emotion and connect deeply with a powerful story and production.

Throughout his time with Troupe 769, Enoc participated in Something Rotten, 33 Variations, What I Did Last Summer, The Addams Family, and Things I Know to Be True. As a member of the International Thespian Society, he brought talent, hard work, and heart to every production he was a part of.

After graduation, Enoc will attend the University of the Incarnate Word to major in Theatre Arts with a minor in Marketing. 📚

His advice to future thespians is to take every opportunity that comes your way. Whether or not you get the role or award you hoped for, the true reward comes from the memories you create, the work you put on stage, and the moments that stay with you forever.

🎭Senior Spotlight: Ronaldo Sanchez 🎭

During his two years in MHS Theatre, Ronaldo Sanchez brought energy, talent, and unforgettable performances to the stage. One of his favorite roles was playing the Cowboy Ancestor in The Addams Family, where he loved showing off his fast footwork, performance skills, and iconic shiny cowboy hat. 🤠

Ronaldo’s theatre journey included performances in Something Rotten as Snug, Footman, and Ensemble, along with The Addams Family as the Cowboy Ancestor. Through each production, he created meaningful memories and friendships that made his experience with Troupe 769 truly special.

After graduation, Ronaldo will attend the University of North Texas to major in Music Education. 💚🦅🎼
