CALL FOR ARTWORK!
Herencia, Hispanidad Y Colores
“Living with Heritage”
The South Texas College B-Building Art Gallery invites community artists, students, alumni, faculty, and staff to participate in our upcoming community exhibition celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!
Herencia, Hispanidad y Colores: “Living with Heritage” explores stories, memories, cultural inheritance, the Hispanic experience, and color as artistic expression.
Artists may submit ONE original artwork in any medium. Artwork may be 2-D or 3-D and must be ready for professional display.
Living Alter | “Vivendo Con Muerte”
Participants may also submit ONE handmade portrait of a deceased loved one or pet, OR a sculptural/illustrated food item to be included in our community altar celebrating Día de los Mu***os.

• Sept. 11: 8 AM–12 PM
• Sept. 14–30: 8 AM–5 PM
📍 STC Art Building B, Room 116
📌 HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1️⃣ Complete the entry form:

2️⃣ Deliver your artwork to STC Art Building B, Room 116 during the drop-off period.
3️⃣ Submit original artwork only — no copyrighted work and NO AI-generated artwork.
4️⃣ Artwork must remain on view for the entire exhibition.

November 6, 8 AM–12 PM
through November 10, 8 AM–5 PM
⚠️ Uncollected artwork will be disposed of on December 14, 2026, at 5 PM.
