South Texas Open Mic Party You bring the talent, we'll provide the stage (and equipment) FULL BACKLINE PROVIDED to have the ability to get up on stage and display their talents.

We started hosting South Texas Open Mic Party at The Flying Walrus every Sunday in order for bands, musicians, comedians, etc. You can perform solo (acapella, solo guitar, bass, drums, brass instruments), accompanied by some other musicians, or you can bring a full band. Anything goes, so let us know if you want to hop up on stage!

This is an old tradition that lost its way at The Flying Walrus. Sad but true 😢. But no need to fret! The tradition has revived itself Wednesdays 9pm till close. All art forms welcome. “Flying Mic” nights are now hosted by Indigo Sound Co. Professional Sound and lights provided. Enjoy!
