August 28 is National Red Wine Day, and we're celebrating the best way we know how: by encouraging you to pour something you love *or* discover something completely new.

Bold and full-bodied. Light and bright. Fruity. Earthy. Familiar. Unexpected.

One of the best parts of our self-pour experience is that you don't have to choose just one. Pour a taste, compare a few different reds and see what earns a second pour.

And if you're usually firmly on Team White Wine?

A little look back at our French Whites & Rosés tasting 🇫🇷🍷

Our wine classes are designed to give you a chance to slow down, taste, compare and learn, without making wine feel overly complicated or intimidating.

Guests explored French whites and rosés together, learning a little more about what was in each glass while enjoying the experience along the way.

The Maynard Business Alliance is hosting a Summer Sidewalk Sale in downtown Maynard from 10 AM–3 PM on Saturday, August 22nd and we’re making the case for turning your shopping trip into a full day out in town!

Start your morning exploring downtown Maynard.
Shop the sidewalk sales, visit local businesses, grab something to eat, wander around downtown and spend the day supporting the independent businesses that make our community what it is.

Then, when the shopping wraps up? Meet us at Barrels & Vines starting at 3 PM 🍷

One of the things we love about special wine events is that the discovery doesn't necessarily end when the event does. 🍷

We recently welcomed our friends from Nashoba Valley Winery to Barrels & Vines for a Meet the Maker event, giving guests an opportunity to specifically explore their wines.

Some joined us because they were already interested in trying the Nashoba Valley selections and after the event, we kept the wines in the machines for the remainder of the day so guests arriving later could discover them, too.

That's exactly what the wine wall is all about... sometimes you come looking for something specific and sometimes you stumble across something you weren't expecting.

Either way, we hope you leave having discovered a wine worth remembering!
