Summer is heating up in Mayfield Village! Here's everything happening at The Grove and the Gazebo over the next two weeks — and most of it is FREE.
Wednesday, June 24

Kick things off at the Gazebo with the Disco Express Band from 11 AM to 1 PM, then head to The Grove that evening for the Akron Symphonic Wind Ensemble, 6:30 to 9 PM.
Friday, June 26

A double bill at The Grove. Ordinary World, a tribute to Duran Duran, opens at 6 PM, followed by Wanted, the Bon Jovi tribute band, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.
Saturday, June 27 — Independence Day Celebration

The big one. Festivities run 11:30 AM to 10 PM with kids activities, food trucks, and pool fun at Parkview. Rock The House Live CLE gets the party started at 5:30 PM, Saints in the City brings the Bruce Springsteen Live Experience at 7:30 PM, and fireworks light up the sky around 10 PM. (Rain date for fireworks: June 28.)

Cap it all off with Pizza Wars 2026 plus live music from The Zoomies at the Gazebo, 11 AM to 1 PM. Sample local pizzerias in a blind taste test and vote for your favorite. $10 residents / $12 non-residents.

Every summer, Mayfield Village settles the most important question of all: who makes the best pizza around?

Last year, Pizza Roma proved they had the goods — walking away as our Overall Champion, while Georgio's earned Best Traditional and Geraci's took home Best Pepperoni. This year, all three are coming back to defend what's theirs. But they won't have it easy. Three new contenders — Cuoco Bello, Alfredo's, and Piccolo's — are ready to shake up the leaderboard.

Here's how it works: you show up, you sample a slice from each restaurant in a blind taste test, and you vote — no names, no favorites, just the pizza doing the talking. At the end, we crown the winner and hand over the coveted Pizza Wars paddle.

Oh, and The Zoomies will be playing live the whole time. So really, there's no reason not to come.
