Several of the Matunuck Art Leaguers took a recent field trip to the new and fabulous Westerly Museum of American Impressionism. Highly recommend this wonderful asset to our arts community! We were drawn to the many New England regional scenes that inspire our own plein air paintings.

Our autumn weekly hours are Thursday and Friday, 4-7pm and Saturday, 1-5pm. We’re also gladly open by appointment or when the flag is out. Do stop by.

Check out MAL Artist, Carol Shelton’s exhibit at the The Graham Gallery! Details below.

Carol Shelton has a home base at her Warwick studio, Cove View, but she loves to get out and paint on location. With her paints and easel in the car, she sets up wherever the view inspires her. “Greenwich Cove”, captured in oils, currently on exhibit with paintings by Lucy Iannotti, “Her Brush - Her Story, Two Expressive Painters”. Through October 11.

Visit us to experience this new exhibit—a tribute to the talent and creativity of two remarkable women artists.

Open weekly Thursday and Friday, 4-7PM and Saturday, 2-7PM. We’re also gladly open by appointment or when the flag is out.
