Yesterday was MGM student recital that we do twice a year. It gives them a chance to hit the stage. Lots of nervous energy in the room and so many great performances.

It also gives a chance for their families and friends to see them perform and see what they're up too musically.

For me, it was a 12 hour day but a satisfying day. Over 70 performers in total!

Here are a few of performances. Unfortunately, I don't teach much these days because of lack of time but thats my long term student Alon in the 1st video. He nailed YYZ by Rush.

Alon's done 4 Rush songs in total at our recitals. Please check out all the videos posted here if you get the time. So much up and coming talent. MGM is just proud to be a part of the future of the performing Arts.

Yesterday we had our student recital in Mint Hill. It was another great turnout.
Thank you to the 85 students who performed and the 11 teachers who helped get them to the stage.

To say this was a sudden glorified suprise would be an understatement. MGM has won best music school in Matthews, selected by a panel of 4 at qualitybusinessawards.

I'm not here to take credit. It's the 12 teachers, my incredible manager/teacher Jennifer Gayle Hicks and ofcourse Diane.

You guys make the school the success it is. To everybody t agged here, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. All your care and dedication has paid off.
