lected by audition to participate in shows and compete on both a regional and national level. These students are recipients of thousands of dollars in cash prizes and scholarships. Some of these students dance 8 to 10 hours per week to perfect their skills and techniques

Senior Spotlight ✨

Hi! My name is Bailey Hinchey and I will be attending NC State University in the fall! I am majoring in business administration and couldn’t be more excited to be spending the next four years there! I am also excited to announce that I will be continuing my dance journey on the NC State Dance Team!!

I have been dancing at showcase for 15 years now and have been dancing competitively for 14 years. It has been my second home for as long as I can remember and has truly helped shape me in to the person I am today. Dance has been my safe place and somewhere where I can truly express myself and that is something I am eternally grateful for! Dance hasn’t just been a sport to me but it’s the place where I’ve gained life long friendships and a family, whom I’ve shared endless amounts of memories with! I am forever grateful to all my teachers who have helped get me here today. I have learned numerous things both on and off the dance floor that will stay with me forever. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without you guys, so thank you! I will forever miss this studio and everything I have learned over the years, but I know this is a place I can always come back to. So excited to see what comes next! SDC forever!❤️

Senior Spotlight ✨

Hi, my name is McKenna Rizzo and I will be attending Georgia Southern University in the fall to study radiological science with the goal of becoming an ultrasound technician.

I’ve been dancing at Showcase for 15 years and on the competition team for 11. This studio has been a second home for me since the age of 3 and it’s hard to believe there is only a few short weeks left. I am eternally grateful for dance not just for the experience but for everything it’s taught me and the family I’ve gained along the way. My teammates and my teachers mean so much to me and i’ll miss all of the love and laughter that came with it!

Hi! I’m Rileigh Jusko, and I’m attending Central Piedmont Community College this fall. I plan on majoring in psychology and becoming a criminal psychologist after school.

I’ve been dancing for 4 years. One of my favorite memories was getting to be in recital my first year even after breaking my arm. I like dance because it helps me try a lot of new tricks and helps me get out of my comfort zone.

Senior Spotlight ✨

Hi! I’m Maicy Metzgar, and I’m headed to Tulane University this fall! I plan to major in Neuroscience on the pre-med track, with a minor in Business Marketing.

I’ve been dancing for 16 years, and the last 7 have been with Showcase. One of my favorite parts has been becoming an assistant teacher and getting to watch the kids grow throughout the year.

More than anything, I’ll cherish the memories with my friends and teachers. I’ll miss the famous bobby pin game, playing mafia in hotel lobbies, and all of our backstage rituals. Thank you, Mrs. Lori, for always keeping my AirPods safe :)

I wanted to create a place where every child feels seen, encouraged, challenged, and loved from the moment they walk through our doors.
Dance has always been about so much more than steps to me. It teaches confidence, discipline, teamwork, resilience, creativity, and how to believe in yourself even when something feels hard. Those are life lessons that stay with children long after the music ends.
I dreamed of building a studio where dancers of all ages and abilities could grow in a positive, nurturing environment surrounded by mentors who truly care about them, not just as dancers, but as people. A place where families feel welcomed, friendships are built, and children learn that hard work and kindness matter just as much as talent.
Over the years, Showcase Dance Centre has become exactly that. A second home for so many families. Watching dancers gain confidence, overcome fears, celebrate accomplishments, and grow into incredible young people is the reason I continue to do what I do every single day.
We don’t just teach dance here. We teach life lessons through dance. And I feel incredibly grateful to be part of each child’s journey.

This past week here at Showcase was dress like your dance teacher week! I think our favorite was when a few girls came in dressed like our very beautiful and expecting mom to be ballet teacher Ms. Jessica! We also had some nailed it moments of Ms. Lori! So fun! ❤️ 🖤

It was an ULTIMATE competition weekend at ! Top Studio Spirit Award for the Performance Level, Overalls, Ultimate Buzzers and the most important thing…..memories made!
