“I’m not creative.”
I hear some version of this ALL the time.
And my response is always the same:
You don’t have to be an artist. You just have to be willing to try.
Finding the right creative workshop isn’t about finding the fanciest studio or the most complicated project. It’s about finding a space where you feel comfortable enough to relax, learn something new, ask questions, make a few mistakes…and CREATE.
I just added a new article to the Josie Mae Creative Lab website:
Craft Workshop Near Me: How to Find a Creative Studio That’s Actually Beginner-Friendly
It covers what to look for when choosing a workshop, questions to ask before booking, what a beginner-friendly experience should actually feel like, and why the right environment matters.
And yes…there may be a little peek inside Josie Mae Creative Lab too.
If you’ve been thinking about trying something creative but keep telling yourself, “I’m not artistic enough for that,” this one is especially for you.
Come as you are. We’ll help with the rest.
