DECISION TOMORROW!

The Illinois Gaming Board plans to decide between Matteson and Homewood tomorrow, December 8 at about 10 AM.

Matteson has a great proposal and we're excited about our chances!

Matteson Caisno Makes It To The FInals!

We’re honored and thrilled to be a finalist. The Iillinois Gaming Board has done a thorough job under difficult circumstances. We look forward to demonstrating our community support, diverse team, and great project in the next round.

Regulators on Wednesday advanced proposals from Matteson and a site straddling Homewood and East Hazel Crest. The final selection is expected to be made by early next year.

Our Matteson Casino project will not "try" Mellody Hobson, we will do!

100% of our owners are minorities, women, or veterans. We will have an MBE general contractor and have challenged them to get 100% of subcontract bids from MBE trades. Our food and beverage offerings will include MBE owned venues. Our workforce will reflect the community it serves.

At a meeting of the Illinois Gaming Board Thursday, administrator Marcus Fruchter said that once the board hires an investment banker to help in vetting the four south suburban applicants, it could be another six months before a finding of “preliminary suitability” is made.

We remain committed to creating jobs and opportunity in Matteson, and look forward to working with the gaming board on their selection process. The closer they look, the more they will realize that Matteson is the PERFECT location for a South Suburban casino.

The Illinois Gaming Board is mulling proposals for four new casinos earmarked for Waukegan, the south suburbs, Rockford and downstate Williamson County.
