Lambarri Dance Arts Pre-professional training program for young beginners to advanced level dancers.

Lambarri Dance Arts’s mission is to instill in our students the importance of the mind-body connection. We seek to constantly challenge our students in a way that engages their minds logically and artistically, as well, as their bodies physically. Our dancers gain knowledge and experiences that will stay with them throughout their lives, and facilitate happy healthy lifestyles. At Lambarri Dance A

rts we provide an environment for our students to work towards attaining their goals, make lasting memories, and embody the joy of dance. In support of our mission and in honor of Owner Alexa Sanniola’s grandmother who showed endless support for her before passing from Dementia, Lambarri Dance Arts will make a donation each year to the Alzheimer's Association. For the 2017-2018 Season, 20% of Registration Fees will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association!

Today is the day! As we come together to celebrate our dancers on a year of hard work and growth, our graduating seniors take their final bow on the Lambarri stage.

There is no family like your dance family. Hours of rigorous training, successes, obstacles, laughter, tears. The vulnerability we experience through our art creates a special, forever bond.

WORKSHOP FACULTY // CARSYN GEKAS

We’re excited to have joining us!

• Graduated summa cm laude with a BFA in Dance & concentration in Composition from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase
• Originally from Dallas, Texas, she received her early training at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and Dance Industry Performing Arts Center
• Performed works by Crystal Pite, Micaela Taylor, Peter Chu, Kyle Abraham, Martha Graham, James Finnemore, and Rodrick George, among others
• Most recently performed with BalletCollective in works by Chloe Crenshaw and Troy Schumacher (New York City Ballet), with Chelsea Thedinga in a new evening length work, and with Mark Caserta’s BIGKID DANCE
• Her choreography has been presented at Battery Dance Festival’s Young Voices in Dance and the 2020 Mobile Dance Film Festival.
