Maria Milazzo is a local artist who continues to share her love of art to children and adults in her small studio in Matawan, NJ. Young at Art Studio, Matawan, has been a familiar name in Matawan since 1990 and has a reputation for fostering small class sizes for enhanced learning experiences. When weather permits, students bring their canvas and easels outside

in the flowery garden or the front porch to practice the skill of catching light and cast shadows in a natural setting. Although oil painting has been Maria’s first choice of medium for her own personal work, a wide variety of creative materials are introduced to students as they practice their new vocabulary to describe their own work.
