Big update for thematagordahub.com
Weeks worth of back and forth, rejections, emails, research, etc, and we finally passed the government approval process for text alerts! The Beach Recovery Network is 100% and ready for recovery requests. This tool will immediately text your situation and map link of your pinned location to the local experienced volunteer recovery guys. No more waiting for someone to see it and respond on Facebook (there is the option to share your request straight to the FB recovery page as well.) I can't wait to see this in action!

TheMatagordaHub.com is really coming together! I've been working relentlessly getting text alerts set up for the Matagorda Off-Road and Recovery team. Setting this system up came with a whole lot of government regulations and hoops to jump through. The system will be set up to immediately text your map pin and a quick description of the situation to the team. The system already works but will be so much better with text alerts to the crew. Members will be able to send a request right in the app with all the info they need to find you and bring the right equipment. This will hopefully be more efficient for everyone involved and allow Recovery Requests to immediately ping the crew. Can't wait!
