I am Amber Haynam and I am the Studio Director for Compass Dance Academy. I started working at Compass in 2019. This is my daughter Kennedy’s absolute favorite place to be and an organization I am proud do be a part of. I also work full-time as a Customer Advocacy Manager for Wittenbach. In addition to Kennedy, I have 3 older sons; Grant, Brady and Quinntin. I am also a proud Nonny to Luka and Zaria.

I love that Compass is a safe space for dancers to be their true selves, where they have amazing support from their friends and teachers!

My name is Rachel Ferrell. This is my second year teaching little movers alongside Ms. Angie and fourth year teaching baton. I am also a member of the Compass Dance Academy Competition Boosters. I am a full time employee at Aultman Hospital and during the summer months, I am secretary and treasurer for the Sons and Daughters of Herman Horseshoe League. I am looking forward to another great season of dance!

Hello! My name is Kylee Loar and I am going to be teaching mini hip hop, mini contemporary, and rec pom this year. I am currently a sophomore nursing student at Kent State Stark. I have been dancing and cheering since I was very young and this will be my first year teaching dance! I also was on Kent State’s club dance team last year and got to perform at a professional hockey game. My favorite styles of dance is hip hop and contemporary. I am so excited for this year and ready to win!!

Hello dance family! Our new studio is looking amazing. However, we have run into a problem where our flooring isn’t going to be in in time for our opening. Unfortunately, we are going to push our opening back a week. Our classes will begin Monday 9/21.

We are so sorry for this delay, but we want to make sure everything is perfect for our dancers.

Rec Classes! Please note, due to parental requests for the younger dancers, we have moved around the Thursday schedule so please double check your times for comp and rec classes in studio pro. Acro will not be 6-6:45.

1 Class-$55/month
**there are still discounts for additional classes and siblings**

Up to a family of 2 max $350/month (one dancer can also max out tuition at $350)
Additional siblings $50/month

Compass will have a booth at the Massillon Kids Fest this Saturday, August 15 from 10:00-2:00. Compass competition dancers will perform on the stage in Duncan Plaza at 12:30! Come out and see us! Get some hair tinsel and/or temporary tattoos. And, register for our fall season of dance classes!
