I have not posted a moon photo in quite a while on my theatre page, and after all, we are a theatre named after the beautiful luminescent moon! Last night we had a Strawberry Moon, and I took a simple photo through a pair of binoculars, though sadly the moon is not shaped like a strawberry for the evening and does not resemble the delicious fruit much or taste like one for the night, but the beautiful full moon of June did have a soft color that could resemble the seasonal berry (and of course a bit of editing probably brought out the color more). Does this moon have anything to do with theatre besides our theatre name? No. Well, except for the fact that we can have faith that we will see a full moon each month in the same way we can have faith in our Lord Jesus to be with us through each month, during all the phases of the moon even when the skies get cloudy.

Does this have to do with theatre?

Well no, except for the fact that even when the theatre seems dark and quiet or the moon in sky seems dim and distant, our little moon is still moving and stories are still churning...I cannot wait to get back onstage soon, especially as we continuee moving along with a couple other ventures. I thank you all for always being supportive, curious, and ready to see what's next! The Lord is good! 🌕🍓🤍

What's new with The Luminescent Moon Theatre Company? 🌟🤍 🌙 🩵🩷

I am so thankful to finally announce that I will be able to (hopefully) start being able to provide planetarium shows with my very own StarLab. I want to thank my sweet and stellar boss Suzie Dills who gave me hers which she took care of with so much love, teaching so many curious ones about the beautiful night sky above! I have learned so much from her over the years I have been blessed to work at the planetarium with Suzie. I am so grateful to her. I truly am. 🪐 🙂

I have had my StarLab for a little while now, but have been waiting for the perfect time to start putting it to use! I am so grateful to be able to combine my HUGE love of science WITH theatre and of course SPARKLES, with the possibilities I have been pondering with my very own planetarium!

I don't want to share much more at the moment, but I am standing in a theatre with a planetarium and the only thing I am missing is a glittery dress and a room full of curiosity! I cannot wait to explore the stars with you all! God is so kind and I am so blessed by Him! Let's learn about science and stars together! 🩵🌙

The Pluddites, a vintage girls singing group who started in Southeast Pennsylvania, are looking to expand their group. We would like to have a group of young woman be able to carry out the Pluddities in Northeast Ohio as well! ❤️

We adore singing music from the days of yore, groove together and tell stories while keeping to our own story of visiting from Pluto. There are hopes to possibly also begin using our own music. We encourage audience participation and love the theatrics of the olden days.

I am looking for a few gals who love to sing, are comfortable in front of audiences, can move and are not afraid to dance, can memorize lines, sing and blend as a group, understand the days of the 1940s through the 1960s, and work hard to have fun bringing old school music and storytelling to folks 💙

Requirements:
Strong Voice
Theatre Background
Musical ability
Ability to blend voice with group
Attend rehearsals for groups
Be able to work together as a group, a team
Regularly attend events, performances and want to participate in opportunities to tell stories, sing and grow

Must be 21 and up!

If you are interested in being part of this group, to audition, please email us at [email protected] with a resume, headshot, 32 bars of a golden age musical theatre song, dance experience and any instrument experience.

We are also looking for young woman who would want to be part of our storytelling, but would prefer to be our musical artist on piano/keyboard. She would play our music, and also participate in our script and if she would like, also sing, but that is not a requirement.

This is a start up group, we have the goal of becoming paid.

I feel so grateful! 🗞️ The Barberton Gazette (thanks Paul for the idea and dad for always making sure I reach out!) wrote such a kind and lovely article about The Luminescent Moon Theatre Company! While having my own building again is not on the to do list for the moment (I am practicing patience and trusting God's timing because the dream is a huge classic theatre with astronomy on the ceiling and golds and blues and a big ole marquee and the whole likes of an old fashioned beauty to enjoy theatre together!), I still want to bring storytelling, hope, intrigue and excitement to others through my theatre, (even whilst I am still staying strong in the struggling actress life!) ;) 🩵 When I moved home, a Christmas show at The West Theatre, I think helped do that! Who knows what is next? I am thankful to all those that helped this show go on, and for all those who constantly support the theatre and honestly, me. It means a lot. God is good! The article even talked about my Shooting Star Princesses and my other love of science and covered Princess Luna! That was so touching to me because little girls can be super girly (like me!) and still loveeeee STEM and be good at it too! I feel so blessed! I cannot wait to continue forward! God has been confirming to me, (at least I think!) that I am in the right position and place and time! God made a magnificent world and I just hope we can see all the ways we can see that beauty together! ❤️

Thank you to and every person who made our Christmas Variety Show so full of Christmas spirit! I was so grateful to put this production on in a new town, in a new theatre with familiar and new faces both onstage and offstage! Have a Merry Christmas everybody! ♥️💚🎄🌙🤍🎶♥️
