Official: Paul Rogers So in a sense, through the years, I have kinda become that tape deck. I got my first guitar when I was 11, It was a Gibson Les Paul TV Model.

When I was young my parents were worried about how I might turn out because when other kids were playing with firetrucks wanting to be firemen, I was playing with Reel to Reel tape decks... And THAT's what I wanted to be when I grew up. This of course, made no sense to anyone at the time... but today, I sure enjoy recording cover versions of awesome tunes... as well as my own original compositions

. It was tan and beat to sh*t but I loved that guitar and took it with me everywhere I went. It was even slung over my shoulder the first time I ran away from home. I had a German Shepard puppy named 'Joshua' at the time, one day he knocked over my guitar and rendered it non playable, but I still kept playing. In the last 30 years I have written over 150 songs and collaborated with some real cool people including Jacob Painter, who formed RunnuR with me in 2008, Alex Covert of Subversive Chronicle who I am currently playing Bass Guitar for, and Bananas (AKA Willvorine) who is a mega talented up and coming Rapper from Canton, OH. Today I am most known to be taking on anywhere from 4-500 projects at a time which keeps my mind from realizing that I am in fact NOT a tape deck.

I dig solo acts and acoustic guitar but I would like to do something a little different. I once saw Black Francis AKA Frank Black of the Pixies, come out and do a solo yet all electric show. Still sounded stripped down but I could get into the vibe he was trying to project, sing along to all his songs and he was doing something that everyone else was not. What do YOU think. Would you come see it?

It's been over a year since I've used this page for anything special. I have been very busy with my band Murphy's Children and my independent internet radio station OHMS RADIO. I need to get outta the house, and spend less time in front of the computer, and that means I'm thinking about spending MORE time onstage doing a Pete Mako or Johnny Neiman kinda solo thing. Who all's gonna come see me?

It is with a very heavy heart that I must announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our drummer Brian Golec. Brian was a good friend and an excellent drummer. He was full of ambition and talent and I am lucky to have shared the stage with him. The whole band is completely devastated right now and we are trying to cope with the loss of such a great man. Brian, may we eternally rock out together brother.

Do me a big big favor: look at the right hand side of your facebook where it says 58 people have invited you to like pages, and go through them and like them. it helps alot especially if they are in a band that depends on your likes to get bookings and compete with the other bands. it only takes a second and it really means alot. I have over 650 friends and most of them have been invited to like pages but havent done it yet. I could totally have 500 likes if everyone does their part. I love you all.
