Dear Studio 136 Dance Center Parents, Students, Staff, Alumni, and Friends,
As we close the curtain on our 22nd recital and another incredible season at Studio 136 Dance Center, my heart is filled with gratitude.
Thank you for an amazing year. Thank you for trusting us with your children and allowing us to share in their growth—not only as dancers, but as confident, creative, and compassionate young people. It is truly an honor to be part of their journey.
I have heard that this year’s recital was outstanding, as always. From the smiles and laughter to the unforgettable performances and memories made both on and off the stage, it sounds like it was a beautiful celebration of all the hard work, dedication, and love that went into this season.
Although I knew the show was in the very best hands, it was incredibly difficult for me not to be there with all of you.
As many of you know, I was away spending precious time with my dad, who passed away on the evening of Saturday, May 16. My heart is heavy, and there will always be a piece missing. At the same time, I am deeply grateful that I was able to be with him during his final days.
I want to thank each of you for your understanding, your kindness, and your support during this difficult time.
To our extraordinary staff—who are truly more like family —thank you for stepping in and carrying the recital with the same passion, professionalism, and love that define Studio 136. To our parents, students, former students, and friends who offered their help and support, thank you for coming together to make the evening such a success.
Your love and dedication remind me why this studio is so much more than a dance school. It is a family.
My dad was a huge part of the reason I began dancing. He believed in me, encouraged me, and supported my dreams from the very beginning. In many ways, dance has always been my therapy, and that truth feels especially meaningful right now. I know that in honoring his memory, I will continue to move forward—for him, for myself, and for all of you.
Thank you again for your support throughout this season and especially during this time of loss. Your compassion means more to me than words can express.
I am so proud of every dancer, every teacher, and every family who helped make Season 22 such a special one.
I cannot wait to begin Season 23 and create even more memories together.
With all my love and gratitude,
Keely Kowell Beebe
