Saw the first picture circulating around the socials so decided to tryout how much of a challenge it would be to replicate it. This was the results. Need to fill in some more spots to really make it where I like it but its a really cool alternative for tiger stripe.

Base Is just an airforce ABU top. RIT dyed with the apple green, some white vinegar and a dash of dawn soap. Soaked for 60 minutes, cold washed with the RIT dye enhancement bottle to keep the color from bleeding out then let it air dry. Then came the real challenge - fabric markers traced out random spots of the digital design and then colored in with the markers. No real system of what spots got colored in just tried to space out the bigger spots for coverage and filled smaller spots in as filler.

Took a handful of hours to complete the coloring but gotta admittedly does look super cool overall to have a custom digital tiger stripe.

The time has come, here’s our post we never wanted to make. Nearly 10 years ago we opened this field for players of all kinds, from young to old, brand new or experienced, all were welcome. Unfortunately, it is time to say goodbye to our home here in Lorain. Due to change in property ownership we can no longer continue to host our events or open plays. Therefore, Green Vs Tan that was hosted today will be our last event on this property.

To say we are heartbroken is an understatement, however, we are not done. This community, our staff, and everyone who has been apart of Sektor7 in one way or another has formed who we are. We are actively looking for new opportunities on new properties within Northeast Ohio to continue on Sektor7 for many more years to come, and encourage players and the community to send us possible areas if they have any in mind. In the meantime, our staff will still be interacting with our players, attending and staffing Centurion Combat Simulations, and possibly you may see some pop up events from us as well at certain locations.

We don’t know what the future holds but what we know for sure is Sektor7 isn’t defined by a piece of land, Sektor7 is defined by our players, this community, and our staff. Sektor7 is here to stay, no matter where we are. We thank all of our amazing players, staff, parents, and industry partners for staying by us. Whenever we have more information to share we will, and we thank everyone for their continued support. We ask that you please do not reach out to staff members directly with questions, as to not overwhelm them, rather as we get information we will inform everyone.
