Good Saturday Morning
I'm sitting here with my coffee and I'm trying to figure out how to summarize last night's performance. I have all these thoughts of what I want to share with you going around and around in my head with a replay of the evening's fun going around in there at the same time.
All of this because last night the headliner, Cam Bertrand not only saw what my dream is but he recognized it and said some really touching comments on stage about Krackpots while on stage that brought tears to the Krackpots family and performers.
The Backstory.....
Cam Bertrand's mentor was the great Carl LaBove and as chances are that our very own Krackpot Michael Cheselka was a part of Sam Kinison's Outlaws of Comedy with Carl LaBove. Thus connecting the previous comedy legends with who will be the a future comedy legend.
Now back to last night.
So, after Cam Bertrand finishes on stage, the Emcee Trevor Scott doesn't go back on stage but no one other than Michael Cheselka, who featured last night, takes the stage and finishes the story about Carl LaBove and raves about Krackpots. My heart just kept growing and growing.
The picture below will be displayed at Krackpots as I see this portraying a passing of the baton of comedy. When you look at the picture you'll see Michael Cheselka on stage and in the left corner is Cam Bertrand watching, maybe admiring, definitely listening.
Im so thankful for so many people in my life and the continuous fun Im allowed to have doing what I enjoy and all of this means a little something to people in our community when the weekend rolls around.
Thank-you for allowing me this!
Thank-you to all that value the art of laughter!
Thank-you to all that share their laughter eith others!
