Reminder for Visitors Week:
We can’t wait to welcome our Visitors into the studio, there are a few notes to share before we all gather! We want both our students and their visitors to have a fun and rewarding experience…we can achieve that by keeping a few things in mind before, during, and after your Visitor Day!
1. We are limiting the number of Visitors per student to keep class size as manageable as possible. We are asking that each student bring NO MORE THAN TWO ADULT Visitors. Our Recital will be the perfect time to have all our friends and family support our students, Visitors Week should be a more intimate sharing experience!
2. We ask that our Visitors exercise supportive and encouraging etiquette when in class. We ask that talking be kept to a minimum so our teachers can conduct their class in a productive manner and those around you can remain engaged in the class. We ask that you give your undivided attention to your student when in the classroom by keeping phone use to a minimum, we ask there be no talking on the phone during class time and that phones be kept on silent.
3. A good use of your phone during Visitors Week would be to videotape your students dance/tumbling piece so they have an audio and visual to practice with to prepare for Recital!
4. You must remove your shoes before entering the studio rooms. These rooms have special dance flooring that can be ruined by outside elements.
5. Please be patient and courteous when entering and exiting not only the building, but the parking lot as well. There will be several vehicles and even more bodies in and out of the studio at one time. Please heed caution when traversing the lot whether by foot or vehicle!!! Please plan and prepare accordingly for this uptick in both vehicle and foot traffic. And whenever possible, carpool to reduce traffic.
6. Recital Paperwork will be sent electronically prior to your Visitors Day and you will receive a physical copy of all paperwork to refer to. At Visitors Week, we will NOT be doing a full review of this paperwork. We will briefly touch on some important pieces, but we wanted Visitors Day to be a time that you could come in and view your student dancing/tumbling as opposed to listening to us speak at you! Please be sure to review this paperwork THOROUGHLY and CAREFULLY as there is a lot of information to digest!
7. Please do NOT enter the studio until 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your student's class. Please wait in the lobby area of the building until you are called into the studio space. And please help us to keep the attention on our classes in session by keeping noise and traffic to a minimum inside the building.
Thank You for helping us to make this a successful and fun Visitors Week! See you at the studio!
