This weeks ✨teacher Tuesday✨ brings us the incredible MISS. BECKY!!!

Miss Becky has dedicated her life to the performing arts through dance, music, and education. She began her formal training in dance and theater at Long Island High School for the Arts before earning a BFA in Commercial Dance from Pace University and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from Hofstra University.

Miss Becky has been teaching dance and choreographing for nearly 10 years, bringing positivity, creativity, and enthusiasm to every class. She is passionate about challenging her students to reach their full potential while fostering confidence and a love of dance. As a former competitive dancer and singer, she brings a strong performance background to her classes. Her professional experience includes performing as a Knicks City Kid, dancing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade opening number, a virtual reality film for Google, a Macy’s fashion show, the US Open, a Kidz Bop music video, and singing the National Anthem for the Town of Oyster Bay.

In addition to teaching at BDA, Miss Becky is a Kindergarten teacher who is passionate about inspiring creativity, confidence, and a love of learning in every child.

Week 3 of ✨TEACHER TUESDAY✨
We have the incredible Miss Alexa!

With a lifelong passion for performance, Miss Alexa has been immersed in dance and theater since the age of four, competing throughout middle school and high school. She furthered her training after being accepted into the Long Island High School for the Arts, where she studied theater and dance. She went on to earn a BFA in Theater and Dance alongside 13 selected performers from Hofstra University.

For the past 13 years, she has shared her expertise as a dance instructor and vocal coach at Broadway Dance Academy, taking pride in helping dancers grow both technically and artistically. Alongside teaching, she works as a Producer at the nation wide media outlet, NBCUniversal. Here she produces for The TODAY Show with talent including Al Roker, Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Carson Daly, Sheinelle Jones, and Jenna Bush Hager with features in other shows including Jimmy Fallon, Kelly Clarkson and more. Her producing credits also include a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day special and Commerce Stages Events featuring talent such as Courteney Cox, Kristin Cavallari, Naomi Watts, Hillary Swank and more.

Blending deep performance experience with a sharp industry perspective, she brings a well-rounded, professional, and encouraging eye to every dancer she works with.
