I've been calming my mind (& my nerves!) lately with a return to my first true love...crochet! There's something mind-numbingly peaceful about creating something with your hands while continuing with life's daily demands. School pick up? I can crochet while I wait. Watching TV? Time to pick up my hooks. My kids put in two unusual requests...a chicken (we are definitely city people) and a jellyfish. The jellyfish isn't quite done (the pattern calls for, what feels like, 95,000 tentacles🤣). Final pictures to come soon! ❤

Came across this pattern from oakandmarlow…and you all know I can’t resist a cute pattern…especially for my first love…crochet.

These were SO easy to whip up (seriously, I blinked and they were done - even with the tricky yarn 😵‍💫). I can’t wait to whip up more of her creations! (My oldest has put in a request for a chicken 🤣).

She’s currently doing a tester call for bunnies, and consider this my hat in the ring! My baby girl loves bunnies! (She calls them all bun-buns 🥹), and I’d LOVE to make her a stuffy ❤️

I suffer from “Makers ADD”. I want to make ALL the things, get bored doing the same things over and over, and love to challenge myself in new ways. It’s why my craft room looks like Hobby Lobby just threw up. 🤣🤣

So when a customer came to me and said, “My 10-year anniversary is coming up…and the traditional gift is aluminum. Can you make something?”

I had JUST the thing! I just had to source the aluminum first. 🤣

I think this little bookmark with her wedding colors came out so cute!

It’s been a rough few weeks…and I’ve been running on a lot more than coffee and chaos.

My 16-year-old pup had a pretty scary episode earlier in the month and was diagnosed with advanced-stage heart failure. I, of course, am not handling it well.

Some orders have fallen through the cracks. Messages have taken a little longer to respond to. My own personal projects have sat on the back burner…but it felt good to pull this shirt off the press tonight 🥳 before I escaped for more doggy snuggles. 🐶
