Each week, we'll have four special themed play times designed to give little ones something different to explore — all included with regular open play admission! 😲

From one mom to another, parenting can feel hard and sometimes, isolating. I want Gather Play Studio to be more than a place to hang out here and there.

I want to build community. A fun place to land during the chaotic weekly rhythms we can get stuck in. A place that will enrich our lives as parents and families.

So, I've been thinking, what if we read something that actually makes parenting feel a little easier? 📚❤️

My hope is to start a low-pressure, 4-week parenting book club for moms — not another place where we compare ourselves, debate parenting styles, or leave feeling like we’re doing everything wrong. 🙃But where we can come together and feel supported.

Just moms, good books, honest conversations, and hopefully a few things we can actually take home and use.

We’d choose evidence-informed parenting books that help with things like:
✨ Big emotions & tantrums
✨ Communication with our kids
✨ Boundaries without constantly yelling
✨ Sibling chaos
✨ Parenting when WE are completely overstimulated
✨ Repairing after we lose our patience
✨ And maybe most importantly… giving ourselves a little grace

I’m thinking one book over four weeks, with a casual get-together each week to talk about what we're learning and what's actually working in real life. My first choice is Good Inside by Dr. Becky Kennedy (if you already read it, great! You'd be wonderful to add to the conversation).

And because moms' schedules are… well, basically chaos 😂, I’d love to see 1.) level of interest and 2.) what days/times could work. This would be a free meetup; all you'd have to do is buy the book.
