Well Mother Nature wins again. More than inch of rain fell in the last hour and 1.15 yesterday has forced us to cancel the season championships for this afternoon at the Mason City Motor Speedway.

As you can see by radar more rain and no sun leaves us no option. We will work on reschedule date maybe tie in with the Five Star Classic.

Thanks everyone for you support of the Mason City Motor Speedway.

Some money has been added to the post Ryne made yesterday on payouts. Bat Wing Chassis has added $500 to the Outlaw Mini Mod payout from second on back thanks to Nathan Kilwine on that.

Here is what we have come up with for the starting spots in feature number 1. And just so you know just like every season the points are every night that we have raced for all the classes.

Drivers with perfect attendance for each points race.

DOUBLE FEATURE STARTING PROCEDURE UPDATE – SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS

After giving the double-feature format some more thought, we wanted to come up with the fairest way possible to determine the starting lineup for Feature #1.

For the first feature, any driver who competed in EVERY 2026 track points night in their class will be eligible to redraw for their starting position, just like we do on a normal weekly race night.

Eligible drivers will redraw using the 1 through 8 pills, just like our regular weekly redraw.

To be eligible, you must have competed in every points race held for your division in 2026:

• USRA B-Mods — 13 points nights 3 Drivers – Skauge, Moudry, Nordman
• USRA Stock Cars — 12 points nights 5 Drivers - Hollatz, Shipman, Brown, Hare, Borchardt
• USRA Hobby Stocks — 13 points nights 9 Drivers all will redraw
• USRA Modifieds — 11 points nights 5 Drivers - Murgic, Dais, Hejna, Karau, Grooms
• Outlaw Mini Mods — 11 points nights 4 Drivers Kraus, Ruehlow, Read, Alexander

This is our way of rewarding the drivers who supported the track every single points night throughout the 2026 season while still keeping the starting lineup determined by a redraw.

Feature #2 will be lined up using the double-feature procedure we previously announced, with the winner of Feature #1 drawing the pill to determine the invert.

We appreciate everyone who supported the Mason City Motor Speedway throughout the season, and we’re looking forward to a great night of racing for the 2026 Season Championships!

👉No Entry Fee, Just a Pit Pass

👉Drivers draw for their starting position in Feature #1

👉Winner of Feature #1 draws for invert between 8 and the number of cars finishing feature #1 for the starting lineup of Feature #2. (Must Finish Feature #1 to be included in the invert)

👉One-Time Payout is determined by your best average finish between the two features.

👉In the event of a tie in average finish, the money for those finishing positions will be combined and divided equally among the drivers tied.

👉One night of racing - Two nights of National Points
