Calling All Artists! Are you looking for a way to get your art seen by thousands of arts patrons?

The NIACC Art Department is looking for 2-dimentional exhibitions for the NIACC Auditorium Lobby. This space welcomes patrons to all our Performing Arts & Leadership Series events, NIACC events, local rental events, and more! This highly trafficked space is a great way to get your art seen by people from all over the Midwest and further.

This call is open to local, regional, and national artists. There's also an honorarium of $1000 is provided to the artist selected for the exhibition.

Happy World Theatre Day!

This day is a celebration for those who can see the value and importance of the theatre, so we want to celebrate our Auditorium and The NIACC Performing Arts & Leadership Series.

Ground breaking for The North Iowa Community Auditorium was done in 1976 by Meredith Willson, and the Auditorium was fully built by 1979. Although performances were held in the Auditorium, it wasn't until 1998 that the Performing Arts & Leadership Series was formed. Since then, the Auditorium and Series has grown and hosts a wide variety of performances.

NIACC hosts local a variety of Mason City High School's concerts and their yearly musical. Local events like conferences, dance recitals, barbershop performances, and more rentals also find their home in the NIACC Auditorium.

The Series brings in Tony award winning shows, Grammy Award winning artists, comedy, internationally acclaimed speakers, and special performances that invite local students and schools to attend for just $1. The Series relies on ticket sales, sponsorships, grants, and donations to bring all this to North Iowa.

We're excited to announce what performances are coming to NIACC this upcoming season. Our 2026-2027 Season Preview will be in just 2 months on May 27 at 7 PM! This FREE event is an opportunity to hear about how excited we are for each show and get the highly anticipated 2026-2027 Season Brochure. We hope to see you there!

Clue is a hilarious new play based on the fan-favorite 1985 Paramount Pictures movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game.

The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up.

Clue is a purely entertaining, fast-paced slapstick comedy that leaves both passionate fans and newcomers in stitches.
