Want to gain $100 for your business or organization? Put together a float for the parade. Float entries will be judged and monetary prizes will be given to 1st , 2nd, and 3rd place!
1ST - $100, 2nd place - $50, 3rd place - $25
Decorated Bikes, Decorated golf carts/ATV, Decorated Pets,
Costumed Walkers will be judged and a prize awarded.

Please Note: By signing the application you agree to all the terms and conditions included affirmation & liability release. The Mason City Fall Festival reserves the right to restrict or deny parade space to businesses or individuals promoting displays, including banners, posters, electronic/digital media that the Committee deems inappropriate or incompatible with the festival. The MCFF committee is not responsible for any product displayed at the festival. Anyone having a horse in the parade is required to clean up after the animal. Participants with horses who do not clean up after the animal may face a fine. Please complete and return the parade application including the affirmation & liability release mail to the address below by August 31, 2026.
The Mason City Fall Festival committee members and/or directors and officers may not be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with the 2026 Fall Festival Parade that may result in injury, death or other damages to the participant, their family members and/or employees or property. Participants assume all risks connected to participation in the Fall Festival Parade. PLEASE READ AND SIGN THE AFFIRMATION & LIABLILITY RELEASE.
Affirmation & Liability Release
I,_______________________, hereby affirm that I have been well advised and thoroughly informed of the inherent hazards and policies of this event. I know that by participating in the Mason City Fall Festival (MCFF), I am exposing myself to certain known and unknown liabilities in my direct and indirect actions with the public invitees of this event. I also understand that if I choose to hire help for the event, that I am directly responsible for their actions or injury. I hereby personally assume all risks associated with my voluntary participation in this event for any harm, injury, or damage that may befall me or any employee or temporary help, as a result of my participation, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
I understand and agree that the Mason City Fall Festival is located in Mason City, Illinois, their members and/or director and officers may not be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with my participation in the festival that may result in injury, death, or other damages to me or my family, heirs, or assign, and in consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby personally assume all risks in connection with said event for any harm, injury, damage that may befall me, including all risks connected therewith, whether foreseen or unforeseen; and further to save and hold harmless said event and persons from any claim by me, or my family, estate, heirs, or assigns arising out of my participation in this event.
I further state that I am of lawful age and legally competent to sign this affirmation and release, or that I have acquired the written consent of my parents or guardians; that I understand the terms herein are contractual and not a mere recital; and that I have signed this document of my own free will.
I HAVE FULLY INFORMED MYSELF OF THE CONTENTS OF THIS AFFIRMATION AND RELEASE BY READING IT IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE SIGNING IT.
