My heart was exploding with pride all weekend just watching the pure joy on stage! Our HDC teachers and dancers work so hard and it shows! Every dancer is so confident and prepared. And with our HDC Alumni backstage we are a well oiled machine! I love watching all these dancers grow together to build our HDC family! I can never thank our families enough for all your love and support! It’s so hard to say goodbye to our amazing Seniors but I know they will be back! They have been the most amazing role models for our younger dancers. This years theme really made me pause and remember how fast time flies, to stop and appreciate moments like this! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! We truly have the BEST HDC family!! 💚💜🧡

I tried posting earlier but the internet was being wonky so here goes again!

Jumping on to answer some FAQ!
Yes! I will be at harperdancecenter recital tomorrow!
Yes! I will have both chocolate and vanilla cookies!
No, I won’t sell out at the first show! I made enough cookies that I’ll have enough to restock for the 2 pm show, but once those are gone they’re gone!

Our 4 Seniors added their shoes to our ceiling and took their last class last night 🥺 Their team mates presented them with “love notes” and it was an emotional night! We are going to miss our Seniors so much!! We are so lucky to have such an amazing HDC family 💚💜🧡

Our last Senior Spotlight is Leighton!

My favorite HDC memories have not been the performances or the competitions, but being in class with people that have become best friends. It’s not all about how high you score at comp, but how much care you show to the people around you. My classmates at dance have become some of my closest friends in and outside of the studio. Dancing at HDC has given me my best friends and I don’t know what I would be without it.

My advice to younger dancers is to always go full out and never be afraid of being judged for it. You always look better in a dance when you give 110% and the crazier you feel, the better you look on stage. Always be yourself because why would you wanna be someone else.

Harper Dance Center’s Registration for Summer 2026 is now open!

Our 5 week session of nightly classes will run July 6th-August 6th. We will also be offering lots of fun day camps for all ages!

There are still some spots open in our Winter/Spring Session that registration will close February 10th! Be part of our Spring Recital!
