THE ROSE THEATER IN MARYVILLE TO PRESENT "FOR BETTER OR WORSE"
The Rose Theatre will present the comedy, "For Better or Worse," on July 30 and July 31 at 7:00 P.M. and on August 1 at 2:00 P.M. Each performance will be held at 120 West Third Street in Maryville.
This play, written by local playwright Riley Drury, features a man who is hesitant to have his fiance meet his rather unusual family members. After all, when "family" includes someone with a short-term memory, a spiritualist, a psychic, a vampire believer, a time traveler, and vampire look-alike--you might be a little hesitant, too!
The play is set at the Ridgemont Hotel and includes a grumpy owner, his moody teenage daughter, a singer and his sister who crash weddings, a chef who gives advice, and a blogger who takes pictures (and anything else he can steal).
Reserved seating goes on sale July 16, with tickets costing $10, plus a small service fee. Reservations may be made through the company's website: rosetheatremaryville.org.
