🌟 Meet the Teacher: Miss Ellie 🌟
We are so excited to welcome Miss Ellie to our teaching staff this season!
Ellie's dance journey began right here at The Academy in Marysville, where she started dancing at the age of 3 and trained extensively as a member of our competition team. In addition to her studio training, she participated in show choir, further developing her love for performance and artistry.
Ellie earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology of Exercise with a minor in Psychology from Ohio University. During her time at Ohio University, she was a dedicated member of the Dance Team and served as team captain for two years. In this leadership role, she coached teammates, choreographed routines, and helped create a positive and motivating team environment.
Today, Ellie is continuing her education through the Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program at The Ohio State University. She is passionate about helping others through movement and is excited to bring that knowledge into the classroom.
Returning to the studio where her own dance journey began makes this season especially meaningful. Miss Ellie is passionate about helping dancers build confidence, strengthen their technique, and discover the joy of movement. She can't wait to inspire the next generation of Academy dancers!

🌟 Meet the Teacher: Miss Abby 🌟

We are so excited to welcome Miss Abby to The Academy teaching staff this summer!

Starting at the age of 3, Abby received her pre-professional dance training in her hometown of Marysville, Ohio. Through competitive dance and show choir, she developed a versatile foundation in dance technique, performance, and artistry.

Currently studying at Western Kentucky University, Abby is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Physical Therapy. She is set to graduate in May 2028. Abby has performed works by WKU dance faculty as well as national and international artists. Her choreography has been formally showcased with numerous studios and performance groups, and she has instructed technical masterclasses throughout Ohio and Kentucky.

Abby has a strong passion for health, movement, and rehabilitation and loves helping dancers grow both technically and artistically. We are thrilled to have her share her knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm with our students this season.
