Hi, I’m Josie—the tattoo artist, perpetual over-thinker, and the person responsible for turning an old garage into the Cat Eye Collective.
I’ve always believed creativity shouldn’t stop at the tattoo on someone’s skin or the art hanging on a wall. It should spill into the spaces around us, the businesses we build, and the way people feel the moment they walk through the front door.
Tattooing has been my creative home for the last 5 years, but it’s never been just about the tattoos. It’s about helping people celebrate who they are, tell their story, and leave feeling and looking a little more like themselves than when they arrived. If someone walks out smiling bigger than when they walked in, I consider that the real masterpiece 🧑🍳💋
That same mindset is what inspired the Cat Eye Collective. After a decade in the beauty industry, I dreamed of creating a space that felt different—a place where artists could build businesses they’re genuinely proud of, provide for themselves and their families, where personality is celebrated, creativity is encouraged, and community matters just as much as craftsmanship. I get just as excited helping another creative chase their dream as I do bringing one of my own ideas to life.
Whether I’m designing a tattoo, dreaming up the next quirky detail inside the Collective, or helping someone turn a business idea into something real, my favorite part is always the same: watching someone light up because they feel seen.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my family (and a healthy number of pets 😅), indulging in some anime or Bravo TV, tending to my plant graveyard, or convincing myself that one more idea is definitely worth staying up late for.
If you’ve made it this far, there’s a good chance we’d get along!
Welcome to the Collective.
