The Morgan County Fair Board will meet tonight at 7 pm in the Kendall Room on the fairgrounds. This meeting is open to the public.

Thank you to the Morgan County Fall Foliage Festival, Indiana for another great festival and parade. It was great to see so many familiar faces along the parade route.

We were sad to hear of the passing of our long time fair board member Dan Alley. His dedication to, and love of the Morgan County Fair was evident and respected. You may have seen Dan around the Morgan County Fair grounds through the years working on putting up banners or signs or turning on or off parking lot and grandstand lights and many other things.
You may have seen him in a golf cart eating fair food and watching the fair crowd. He enjoyed watching people having a good time with their friends or family because he understood that was the ultimate reward for all the hard work that goes into putting on the fair.
To me personally he was my advisor, supporter, fair historian and friend.
He will be missed by our board. To his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
