🎛️ Mixing Tip of the Day

Use subtractive EQ before adding effects. Cutting bad frequencies first will make your mix cleaner and help your compression, reverb, and saturation work much better. 🎧

🎛️ Mixing Tip of the Day – Sampling

When using samples, always EQ them to fit your track. Cut unnecessary lows and highs so the sample doesn’t clash with your drums, bass, or vocals. A clean sample leaves more room for everything else in the mix. 🎧

no worries!!!
here’s some tips that can help you get your music where you want it

Tip #1 🎛️
If your vocals sound muddy, cut a little around 200–400Hz with EQ. This cleans up the vocal and helps it sit better in the mix.

Tip #2 🎚️
Always mix with your master volume low. If your mix sounds good quiet, it will usually sound good loud.

Tip #3 🎤
Before adding effects, make sure your vocal levels are balanced. A clean, well-leveled vocal always beats over-processing.

Tip #4 🔊
For louder masters, don’t just crank the limiter. First control peaks with compression so the limiter works smoother.

Tip #5 🎧
Always check your mix in headphones AND speakers. Different systems reveal different problems.
