Dance Works Festival Bringing the dancing community - professionals, directors, teachers and students - in one place! DANCE WORKS because we work together!

Originally started by the Berkeley Arts Council and the Berkeley Co. Parks and Recreation and now sustained by Musselman Theatre, Inc., DANCE WORKS is a tradition in Berkeley County, WV for dozens of young dance students to gather in the spring for a festival of instruction and performance. Dancers from the four state region of WV, VA, MD and PA come together to increase their performance abilitie

s, work for scholarships for colleges and camps, and feature their abilities on the stage. Professional instruction is given in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, hiphop and more! Every year is a little different with professors and experts sharing their unique talents with the student participants. On the Sunday afternoon, the DANCE WORKS Gala Performance will feature students and performers from the area perform for parents, friends and the public to enjoy. The evening is wrapped up with scholarships given out to student participants to further their instruction in dance.
