**What an incredible wedding and an absolutely fantastic day!**

I've always said that a great wedding starts with a wonderful couple, and when you add amazing parents, family, and friends, you have all the ingredients for a truly unforgettable celebration. Skylar and Brandon's wedding was exactly that!

From the ceremony rehearsal to the beautiful wedding ceremony and an incredible reception, this was one of those celebrations that was simply a joy to be part of.

And the weather? You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day at Gables 5!

**A Love Story That Started With a Facebook Message**

Skylar and Brandon are such a wonderful, down-to-earth couple. Their love story is one that I just have to share.

It all started when Skylar's profile popped up as a friend suggestion on Brandon's Facebook. When he saw her, he knew he had to get to know her. So, he took a chance and sent her a message.

And not just any message! It was the very message they asked me to read aloud during their wedding reception. What a special moment that was!

Fortunately for Brandon, Skylar responded, and as they say, the rest is history! Sometimes all it takes is a little courage and one simple message to change your life forever.

**Wonderful Families and a Beautiful Ceremony**

We had a great ceremony rehearsal, and everyone was such a pleasure to work with. By the time the wedding day arrived, everyone knew exactly what to do and carried it out with style and grace.

I especially want to thank Brandon's mom, **Krissy Moran**. What a wonderful lady! She was so much fun, and I truly appreciated her throughout the entire celebration.

And I certainly can't forget Brandon's dad, **Jamie Moran**, who also had the honor of serving as Brandon's best man. What a guy! Such an awesome person with a great sense of humor. He kept things entertaining, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him.

Skylar's parents were equally wonderful. You could certainly feel the love and support that both families have for this special couple.

**Charlie Hopkins** performed the wedding ceremony, and as always, he did a wonderful job. Charlie has a way of making a ceremony meaningful and special.

I also had the pleasure of working alongside two outstanding professionals. **Candice Armstrong** handled the photography, and **Jon from Dylanjohnstudios** captured the videography. Both were professional, personable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I always appreciate fellow wedding professionals who work together to make the day run smoothly. I can't wait to see the beautiful moments they captured!

**And Then It Was Time to Celebrate!**

Following the ceremony, everyone made their way to the reception, where the fun was just getting started.

There were so many wonderful family members and friends in attendance. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming that I honestly felt right at home.

After the grand introduction of the wedding party and Skylar and Brandon's first dance, it was time for a delicious meal prepared by **Carla Hopkins and her staff**.

Let me tell you, when Carla is preparing dinner, you know it's going to be good! And she certainly didn't disappoint.

Following dinner, we shared those special parent dances, and then it was time to turn up the music and **get that dance floor going!**

And did they ever dance!

I'm talking about a dance floor full of people having an absolute blast! There was so much energy, laughter, and excitement throughout the evening. These folks came ready to celebrate, and they certainly knew how to have a good time.

Toward the end of the evening, we even mixed in a little karaoke. And let me tell you, there was some real talent in that crowd! It was the perfect addition to an already fantastic celebration.

**A Day to Remember**

I've been fortunate to be part of so many wonderful weddings over the years, and it's celebrations like this that remind me why I love what I do.

Great people, a beautiful setting, a wonderful couple, and a room full of family and friends celebrating love. It doesn't get much better than that.

**Skylar and Brandon**, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing MC DJ Service to be part of your special day. It was truly an honor and a pleasure to celebrate with you and your families.

I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, laughter, wonderful memories, and all the best that life and love have to offer. May God continue to bless you both as you begin this beautiful new chapter together.

🐴 **Horses with Hearts Fundraiser — September 29, 2026**

I had the distinct pleasure of providing the sound, music, and microphones for the **Horses with Hearts Fundraiser** at Heritage Hall in Inwood.

What a wonderful and deserving organization! Horses can provide such a meaningful connection for people facing special challenges, offering comfort, confidence, healing, and companionship in a way that is truly remarkable.

One of the biggest challenges Horses with Hearts faces is that their program has traditionally had to shut down during the winter months. This fundraiser was held to help raise the funds needed to build an indoor arena, allowing them to continue providing these valuable services year-round.

Nearly **400 people** filled Heritage Hall in support of this incredible mission. The room was filled with some of the kindest and most caring people you could ever hope to meet—people willing to give because they believe in what this organization is doing.

The evening raised nearly **$1.5 million**, an amazing accomplishment! But there is still more to be done.

I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to read the Horses with Hearts story. If their mission touches your heart and you would like to volunteer or make a donation, please consider supporting them.

💍 **Jade & Alex Casciano — October 3, 2026**

What a great day spent at the beautiful Entler Hotel in Shepherdstown celebrating Jade Pyle & Alex Casciano!

What a wonderful couple and such a pleasure to work with. Their reception was relaxed, fun, and exactly the kind of celebration where everyone could simply enjoy the day. There was something going on everywhere—from the beautiful patio and indoor spaces to the yard, where guests enjoyed plenty of fun and games. There was no rush, just a great atmosphere and lots of good times with family and friends.

The reception was catered by King’s Pizza and topped off with some delicious cannoli. Nick and Brittney did a great job keeping everyone supplied with their favorite drinks, while Clara stayed busy capturing all the smiles and special moments. I’m sure Jade and Alex will have plenty of wonderful photos that truly capture the spirit of the day.

Even the children had a great time, which made the celebration that much more enjoyable!

It was a wonderful day with Jade and Alex, their parents, family, and all their guests. Thank you, Jade and Alex, for choosing **MC DJ Service** to be part of such a special day.

Hunter Stroop and James Spates were just awesome to work with—fun, relaxed, and ready to enjoy a great time with their family and friends!

And let me tell you about the location of this wedding. What a gorgeous setting! The celebration took place at her father, Mark Stroop’s, river lot. When I say the ceremony was held at the river’s edge, I mean it was literally right at the edge of the river! It was such a beautiful setting that boats even stopped on the river during the ceremony to watch.

Their parents were wonderful, as were all of their friends and family. I’ve known many members of Hunter’s family for years, so it was especially nice to see everyone again and reconnect.

Hunter’s uncle Eric, who is an ordained minister, performed the ceremony. He told me this was the first wedding he had ever officiated, but you certainly wouldn’t have known it. He handled it like a seasoned veteran and did a wonderful job.

Doug Smith provided the barbecue meal, and it was absolutely delicious! Emily from Lovely Vision Photography captured all the special moments throughout the day and was such a nice person to work alongside.

It was a great time celebrating with Hunter and James. They truly couldn’t have picked a more beautiful location to begin this next chapter together.

Thank you, Hunter and James, for allowing MC DJ Service to be part of such a special day. I wish you both many years of love, happiness, and great memories together!
