⚾🥎 The Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival Fall Classic has been in full swing all day!

Both the boys baseball and girls softball fields were packed with back-to-back games all day long! Due to impending rain, the girls games were all pushed up to finish today, with the Championship being played right between Team Gala and Team Honeycrisp🍏🍎

This morning’s 8 AM Opening Ceremonies introduced all 7 baseball teams and 4 softball teams, recognized the tournament sponsors, and featured a ceremonial first pitch from Musselman High School Principal Alicia Riggleman, recently named West Virginia Principal of the Year!🏆

Our reigning Queen Pomona XLVI Syrah George and Maid Elect Brinkley Miller were also on hand for the ceremonies, joined by several Apple Harvest Festival board members to help kick off the tournament!

🥎 Don't forget to check back for the outcome of tonight's softball championship!

📣 SUNDAY SCHEDULE UPDATE: Due to the forecast for all-day rain tomorrow, all boys baseball games scheduled for Sunday have been postponed to October 25.
