Hip-hop royalty is headed to the Backyard for a special night on August 2.

Talib Kweli has spent more than two decades as one of the most respected and influential voices in independent hip-hop. The 2026 Levitate menu is inspired by surf and adventure travels to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico & Costa Rica - all applied to New England sourced produce and meats and roasted in our wood fired oven. A true reggae icon is coming to the Backyard for the first time.

King Yellowman, widely regarded as one of the pioneers and most influential voices in dancehall history, will be bringing his legendary live show to Levitate for a special night on August 4.

Known around the world as "The King of Dancehall," Yellowman helped shape the genre and inspired generations of artists with his unmistakable voice, larger-than-life personality, and groundbreaking catalog of hits. We're very excited to announce a curated evening of food, wine, and storytelling centered around traditional Argentinian cuisine with a signature Backyard twist. Guests will enjoy a four-course family-style dinner paired with five featured wines presented by Julia Zuccardi (flying in from Argentina!).

Hosted alongside Julia, the evening will explore the history of the vineyard, the wines themselves, and memories of her grandmother Emma’s traditional cooking that inspired the menu. From authentic wood-fired empanadas prepared from Emma’s original recipe to tropical and surf-inspired takes on classic Argentinian flavors, the experience is designed to feel warm, communal, and immersive.

Alongside the coursed pairings, guests will enjoy shared starters including fresh focaccia, salad, and warm olives at the table. Expect an intimate, community-driven evening focused on great food, thoughtful wine, and discovering something new together.
