We finished week 2 of our Spring Education Classes yesterday! We've had a blast learning and growing together.

So far...

Our Acting 1 students have learned some foundational acting techniques and have spent time doing script and character analysis for their monologues.

Meanwhile, our Adult Musical Theatre 101 students have learned the fundamentals of how to utilize stage movement to convey emotion, and vocal techniques/warm-ups to set themselves up when approaching singing in musical theatre.

We can't wait to see what comes in the week's ahead!

Meet your instructor for Adult Musical Theatre 101 and Acting 1!

Kelby Lorenz has been a part of the MCT community since 2003, and his work with them includes over 50 productions as an actor, director, technical director, and production manager, among other leadership roles. With this experience, he loves teaching musical theatre and acting fundamentals to help performers of all experience levels grow their confidence and skills. He focuses primarily on thematic storytelling and character development, working with performers to create compelling, grounded characters that amplify stories told on stage.

We're excited to have Kelby back as an instructor this year! Classes start this Sunday, so register today!
