While we’ve been busy working away at our new studio, our Pyxis Performance team has also been busy showing up for our community this summer!

Our team spent two Fridays serving at WheelFed and another evening giving back through trash clean-up at the park and fairgrounds.

We’re proud of the work these girls put into their routines, but we’re even more proud to watch them learn that leadership isn’t always about being out front. Sometimes it looks like serving meals, picking up trash, and simply being willing to help where you’re needed.

Building great leaders who love their community. That’s Pyxis. 💜

Can you see the vision? 👀💜

Because we can!

We see this soon-to-be lobby filled with eager little feet, ready to head into class.

We see those soon-to-be studio doors swinging wide open to welcome familiar faces back home and brand-new friends for the very first time.

We see a space that doesn’t look like much yet… but we know what’s coming.

A masterpiece in progress. 😍

And while the masterpiece is being built, we want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone reaching out about fall classes—and especially for the grace and patience you’ve shown while waiting for a response!

We are plugging away at this new space every single day, which means Ms. Emily isn’t spending quite as much time in her office (or on her phone 😅) as usual.

Please keep reaching out. Please keep checking in. We want to hear from you! Just know it may take us a little longer than usual to get back to you right now.

And in the spirit of full transparency… we may have packed the studio phone in a box during the move, completely forgotten which box it was in, and spent a little time wondering where on earth it went. Good news: it has officially been rescued from moving-box purgatory and we’re working through those messages! 🫣😂

We’re building something really special over here, friends.

✨ Registration is OPEN for our Fall 2027 Season at True North Movement!

A brand new season begins **September 14**, and we can't wait to welcome both returning and new families into our **brand new home**.

We offer classes for:
• Dance
• Tumbling
• Toddlers to Adults
• Beginners to Experts

Whether your student is taking their very first class or continuing their journey with us, our goal is the same... to help every student grow in confidence, character, and skill in a positive, encouraging environment.

We’re building new spaces, but more importantly, we’re building the people who will fill them. 💜

Today’s focus wasn’t on the paint, the floors, or the mirrors. It was on leadership, communication, teamwork, and creating the kind of culture in our studio that our students and families deserve.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms Tracey for investing in our staff today. Ms Tracey was Ms. Emily’s dance teacher for over 15 years, and now, years later, she made the 4-hour drive to pour into the next generation of True North Movement teachers. That kind of legacy is something we don’t take for granted.

Every lesson shared today will have an impact far beyond these walls, and we’re so grateful for the time, wisdom, and encouragement she gave our team.

We can’t wait to get back in classes Sept 14th 😎💜

💜 We’ve been a little quiet… but for a really good reason.

If you’ve been wondering where we’ve disappeared to these last few weeks… here’s your answer.

We’ve officially said goodbye to our old home.

We’ve hauled trailer after trailer.
We’ve moved thousands of pounds of equipment.
We’ve done a thousand flights of stairs.
We’ve painted.
We’ve cleaned.
We’ve torn things down.
We’ve built things back up.
We’ve laughed.
We’ve sweat buckets.
We’ve gotten REALLY dusty.
And we’ve made more trips to the hardware store than we can count.

Most importantly, we’ve been surrounded by incredible friends, family, staff, and volunteers who have shown up with willing hands, encouraging words, trailers, tools, meals, muscles, and prayers.

We truly couldn’t be more grateful.

This building has already reminded us that True North Movement has never been about four walls. It’s always been about the people who fill them.

We’re officially moved into our new home… but we’re definitely not finished yet! There’s still plenty to do before our first day of classes, and we can’t wait to keep sharing the journey with all of you.

Thank you for cheering us on, praying for us, and believing in this dream right alongside us.

We cannot wait to welcome you through these doors very soon. 💜

Great teachers never stop being students.

Over the last two days, Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Emily stepped out of the gym and back into the classroom for continuing education, investing in new techniques, drills, spotting methods, and coaching strategies to make our tumbling program even stronger.

At True North, we believe learning never stops. Whether you’re a student or a teacher, there is always room to grow. Sometimes continuing your education is exciting, sometimes it’s eye-opening, and sometimes it’s humbling but it’s always worthwhile.

A huge thank you to a few of our amazing students who volunteered as demonstration athletes throughout the training. They represented TNM so well and were a tremendous help!

We’re excited to bring fresh ideas, new progressions, and an even stronger foundation to our tumbling program this season. We can’t wait to put everything we’ve learned into practice and continue helping our athletes grow safely, confidently, and one skill at a time.

Here’s to always learning, always growing, and always giving our students our very best. 💜

🏚️➡️💜 Help us solve a few mysteries!

As we’ve been bringing our new TNM home back to life, we’ve uncovered some really neat pieces of history…

From hidden structures behind the walls to old odds and ends left behind over the years, we’ve had more than a few moments where we’ve looked at each other and said…”Wait… what IS that?!” 😂
