It’s 2016: I released 2 songs to Texas Country Radio, sang 100+ shows everyone weekend while balancing a corporate job. Recorded with some major talent, made appearance with friends on stage all over Texas. Chaired my favorite event for TCU. Spent time with all my music people who at the time we were all just scraping by (so proud of y’all!!!!) But then met some country guy that changed my life & slowed me down 😂 apparently i only wore all black & never slept. Best. Trend. Ever. #2016

Lucky number 7 is throwing us a curve ball with baby & a building, but honey if we’ve made it this far with everything life has thrown at us i know we’re going to crush this next year. I love you & am so thankful for your commitment to our family, your work ethic & the steadfast man you are. For years Waine & I have been searching for the perfect building to house our stores. We love historic downtowns, we love something with a rich history, we love to flip a house (well I do & he plays along!)…. And then it finally clicked. A few months ago we purchased this 18,000 sqft, 1921 Building in the heart of downtown Marshall. 🤍

It has been closed & completed neglected for over 6 years, with the upstairs not having been touched since 1973 (that’s another story!) - downstairs is about 8,500 sqft that was fulllllll of previous daycare items, molded carpet, no electricity or water has been turned on in years… I mean you name it & we dealt with it!! We even found 2 dead cats… yall…

Now this is the WEEK! With fingers crossed we pass inspection for our main space to open, this will house our SHEALITY Marshall location & Guys Store + 2 additional renters in a new retail space for our little town.

To say it’s been a long, WILD, ride is an understatement. And… it’s only just the beginning of this buildings new life.

Stay tuned for opening…. Hopefully this Saturday 🤍
