5 days until my return! Getting short on time, so here’s a large post containing sports/school items!

These hand painted hall passes went to a teacher in Sedalia as a gift! For a mascot that I paint often, I loathe the little details in it 🤣

The two pencil signs were so fun to make! I haven’t made a pencil sign in a hot minute. The two of them went to LaMonte school district.

When I say I make custom orders, I’m so serious. I can do virtually anything someone requests. The panda bear tumbler was created with all of an art teacher’s favorites! Favorite artist, favorite animal, favorite medium, favorite colors… I loved how the colored pencils turned out!

These painted softballs went to some seniors in Independence!

The preschool backdrop for photos went to a Sedalia teacher- the year is removable so I can update it each school year!

This stapler I made for a previous teacher and frequent customer of mine- it’s in Holden Middle School and I had created it while experimenting. I appreciate my guinea pigs!

The two footballs I created for free, as well. They took me a while to get done due to being pregnant with Kordynn at the time. I shipped them to West Virginia. Never heard back from the mom that I made them for, I messaged several times, so I hope they arrived safely. They’re twins.

I’ve made quite a few tumblers for St Peter’s teachers! I think it’s pretty cool that so many of my tumblers have gone to a school district in Marshall.

The hall passes are sublimated and designed from scratch. It was a learning experience, but very fun! These also went to a previous teacher of mine and they’re in Warrensburg.

The basketball sign was provided to me to paint on for a MoVal basketball coach. Way to go, Coach! 🏀

I made these two pairs of scissors for teachers…. Also while experimenting. The pink ones went to the Sedalia teacher with the backdrop, and the red and black ones went to the Warrensburg teacher that ordered the hall passes.

This softball ring holder was fun to make. I hope Abby fills it up!!! 🥎

Another softball item, this time for a dad! 🥎 To Texas it went!

I come back to work from maternity leave in 6 days!

Later post than I usually try to make, but I’ve been taking care of the tiny people all day- good reason to be late 🫶🏻 Sharing my remaining metal stamped items!

Tuff is a pupper out of Versailles that needed a tag in case he were to escape from his humans 💙

Hazel lives outside of Warrensburg and got a tag to match her dog brother’s!

I made a wood burned family birthday chart several years ago, and I’m asked to make new tags for their expanding family each year as a Christmas gift to grandma! I would love to see how big this birthday sign is now!

Stevie Nicks was a beloved dog whom unfortunately passed away. A friend of Stevie’s owner requested this keychain in memory. I packed it full of love.

Gammie TT received this keychain years ago and needed another heart added for her newest grandbaby that arrived! She dropped it off when she was picking up some co****le boards I made her for one son’s wedding, and I dropped it back off to her house in Marshall when I was finished with it! I love edits like these on items I’ve made previously 🥹

R***r is Hazel’s older doggy brother. I was concerned about fitting the entire Warrensburg address on there, but I got it to work!

Ameelya was added to the birthday chart.

I had made keychains at least 4 years ago for the officers and some of their wives. One officer got a promotion and I remade his wife’s charm!

Clarke was added to the birthday chart.

My mom requested this PEO keychain made.

“Sh*t Happens” wraparound ring was fun to make- trial and error!

The LLL cap bill tag was created for a teen to remember his friend whom passed away too soon.

Sharing pens today!

The first one is for a bank teller. I love the paw prints! I will always try to match the colors requested. I have several hundred glitters 😬🤣

The second pen was ordered with three others of the pens pictured. She requested their wedding colors and their last name. I added the sunflowers because she said they were her wedding flowers!

The third pen is for another bank teller. She requested her favorite colors- blue and orange! (Actually, come to think of it, I may have just asked her favorite colors and used those whether she liked it or not. 🤣) I do love how her name came out!

Julie’s was requested as UCM colors due to attending or graduating college at the time of the order.

Christena requested the same blue as her wedding pen, but with lime green instead of yellow!

The last pen for Jeremy is in KC Chiefs colors ❤️💛 This was my first pen without glitter- Jeremy probably prefers it that way 😆

I’ve put off sharing these for nearly three years…. not because she doesn’t deserve to be remembered, but because her family deserves privacy.

As a 911 dispatcher, I worked stories such as the one below. Calls like this will haunt me for the rest of my life- which sounds dramatic, but it’s different when you’re in charge of calming the family member on the phone with you, sending responders as quickly as their vehicles can carry them, and gathering as many details of the tragedy as possible. No amount of time erases memories of traumatic situations similar to the one I’m about to tell you.

I received permission to share her story, but with name changes. To respect mom’s wishes, I’m changing the name of the victim to Hannah. I’ll change the husband’s name to Carl. I’ve blurred her name and photo on each tumbler. I am not sharing all 15 that were created because it’s time consuming to edit them and they’re all the same concept.

Hannah and Carl were married and resided together in a large city. In April of 2020, officers responded to the couple’s home where they lived with two juveniles. That evening, Carl’s father, whom resided next door, reported Carl had arrived at his house intoxicated and stated he had shot his wife. Hannah was located by officers in an upstairs bedroom, surrounded by shell casings. Tragically, one shot was fatal and Hannah was deceased. Thankfully, the juveniles were safe in their beds. Carl had told police he doesn’t remember the incident, but that it was an “accident” and he doesn’t believe Hannah became aggressive with him because that would be entirely out of character for her. Carl was found guilty of second degree murder and armed criminal action. He was sentenced to 25 years. 25 years doesn’t sound like much when it’s supposed to punish someone for taking away your daughter.

Hannah was able to light up a room. She was spunky, funny, and kind. She was a wonderful person and well loved by her family, friends, and coworkers. When she was abruptly ripped from their lives, her absence left a hole that can’t be filled. I know they miss her so much.

I can’t bring Hannah back, but I promised her mother I would pack her 15 tumblers with love and care as I created each one. Her mom chose a purple background (Hannah’s favorite color) with half of the tumblers glittered to go to women and half of the tumblers without glitter to go to men. The men and the women received different photos of Hannah on their tumblers, as well. I particularly love that each tumbler was unique in its own way- as unique as the memories each person holds dear of Hannah.

I was honored to be asked to create these. I don’t take requests lightly, especially ones such as these. How privileged am I to be specifically chosen to bring something so important to life? Thank you for choosing me. 💜

I come back to work in 12 days!

These are birthday banners I don’t think I ever shared. With banners, I’ve gotten to the point that they don’t take me nearly as long as they did in the beginning, even with more detail. I’ve developed my own system. I have to be efficient since I don’t have much time while usually working after it’s bedtime for little people and still needing to get some sleep myself to take care of the kids the next day.

The first banner went to Lexington. It was for a great grandma, I believe. Her grandkids all surprised her for her birthday! I was given free rein, but told to use bold lettering due to eyesight. ❤️🖤🤍

Harper had a birthday in Higginsville. Pearls and bows are apparently very in right now. I used a glitter mix I concocted on the pearls and her name. I received a photo of it displayed with the decor 🩷

Amelia had a neon dinosaur party. I delivered the banner to The Y in Marshall the day of her party. I had been sent the different decor mom had ordered and based her banner off of that so that it would match.

Audrey’s banner was completely up to me. I was given a few things she liked. The sun was bright the day I took the photo and the pink doesn’t show up as well in the picture, but I painted with pink, teal, and purple. Some of the pearls I turned into her sports: basketball, volleyball, and softball. I think her banner went to Glasgow area, and I got a photo of it displayed on her car! 🚙

On Saturday, we had a small party. On Sunday, we went to the zoo!

Sugar Plum Fairy made all of the desserts 🧁

And just like that, she’s a high schooler.

My niece, Maddie, graduated 8th grade last night. She looked absolutely beautiful. We are so proud of her and I just love her, even if I don’t see her as often as I would like. My life is in a lot different place right now. She has grown up so much… 🎀 it hit me hard that she’s not little anymore.

Mom picked up the girls and I because Justin worked so he would have to come later. We were an hour and fifteen minutes early to the school (which would be late in Holden)…. But there were only like 15 kids in the class and the ceremony was 24 minutes long.🤣 I stressed out for nothing. I was expecting to fight for parking and seats. 😆 Candy arranged for a private graduation party after the ceremony at a church. Candy made delicious food (the veggie dip was my favorite 😍), and my mom made a cake. Kordynn happily ate her piece of cake and Justin’s. I painted this banner and Maddie was thrilled 💛🖤🤍

The walls of the church where the graduation party was held were made of painted cinder blocks with lots of texture, but scotch tape held the banner up great!

I don't share the faces of other peoples' kids because I ask that they don't share mine on social media, but I do think this is the first photo I have the five of us in one picture together 😆

*Still on maternity leave*

This is a group of random items I’ve painted.

The first is a ceramic ghost that I was provided. You may remember the banner I shared for Laiklyn’s first birthday (Spooky One). This birthday was ✨EXTRA✨ (as all first birthdays should be). The ghost served as a guestbook for people to sign! I coordinated it to match the banner (and the invitations, and the outfit, etc 🧡). This ghost friend went to Waverly area.

The second photo was so much fun! This golf ball shelf for a golf lover was to resemble a putting green. I cut out the putting green shape (reminds me of a jelly bean), and added these tees to hold the golf balls! Of course, there were many more steps than that, but that’s the gist. 🤣 Off to Alabama it went.

Third on the list are these jars. I had painted jars a couple of years ago at my Holden Street Fair booth (the one that’s three days long). They were pink, purple, and blue daisies. I had a customer purchase two of them for her bathroom. Well, she messaged me, said she was changing the decor in her bathroom, and asked if I could paint peaches. Have I ever painted a peach? No, but, gosh dang it, I think these turned out so cute. I wanted to keep them 🍑 Their new home is in Holden.

Last, but not least, I painted this little dry eraser. It was done for free because I was testing out a new product. She sent me several ideas and I combined a couple of them. I think she teaches in Warrensburg now, but she was my science teacher in middle school.

I think I’ll come back to work around the 8th of June. You can make a reminder on your calendars in your phones to get ahold of me that day for your pending requests 🤣 I appreciate the patience; I know several of you get ahold of me regularly and have been waiting for me to come back. ❤️ Thank you!
