What an incredible day celebrating the 40th Annual Cruise at the Fountain!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Thank you to our amazing sponsors, generous donors, dedicated volunteers, Cruise Committee members, Fair Board members, Fairgrounds staff, participants, vendors, and all of the patrons who joined us today. Your support, hard work, and dedication are what make this event possible year after year.

Seeing so many beautiful classic cars, vintage campers, smiling faces, and families enjoying the day reminds us why this event has been a tradition for 40 years. We are truly grateful to everyone who helped make this milestone celebration such a success.

From all of us at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds and Cruise at the Fountain, thank you for being part of this special celebration. We couldn’t do it without you!

Looking for a fun way to celebrate the holiday? Today is the final day of the 40th Annual Cruise at the Fountain at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds, 720 Fair Street, Marshall.

Gates open at 8:00 AM
🔹 $15 - register your vehicle
🔹 Cars must be registered and parked by 11 AM to be considered in the judging process
🔹 $5 - 13 years of age and older
🔹 FREE parking
🔹 Veterans receive FREE gate entry with valid military ID

🔸8:00 AM - Gates Open (card (3% processing fee)/cash accepted)
🔹Fair Street Gate (Cars registering/patrons-NO walking through tunnel)
* $5.00 at the gate (13 and older)
* $15.00 to register a vehicle
* Veterans/Active Duty FREE gate entry
* FREE PARKING
🔹Floral Hall Gate (spectarors only) - Walk-in gate only
* $5.00 at the gate (13 and older)

🔸8:00 AM - Registration Table Opens
* Located in Merchant's Building
* MUST be registered and parked before judging takes place to participate.
* Must be registered by 11:00 AM to be judged!
🔸50/50 Raffle Tickets Available
* Someone will be walking around asking if you'd like to purhcase a ticket.
🔸11:00 AM – 40th Anniversary Celebration: Free cupcakes and water at car registration for participants
🔸8:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Craft Show
* Located in our Merchant’s Building
🔸9:00 AM – 2:00 PM - Door Prizes (will continue throughout the day until 2:00 PM or until prizes have been picked up)
* Located near Fairground’s Office in Gazebo
🔸9:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Kids Matchbox Drag Racing
* Located near the Vintage Campers
🔸Afternoon – Car and Vintage Camper judging will begin.
🔸1:00 PM –50/50 Raffle Drawing
* Announced near the Fairground’s Office
🔸By 2:30 PM – Trophies/Awards, cars to have photo taken in front of garage with back drop, Large Prize Raffle Winner Announced by office and awards to be presented while car is parked or by garage
🔸Activities conclude at 2:30 p.m., allowing participants and visitors to enjoy Independence Day celebrations throughout Calhoun County and beyond while commemorating America's 250th birthday.

Photos are from our 2025 Cruise!

We are proud to host the 40th Annual Cruise at the Fountain: Spirit of the 4th, July 3–4, 2026, at the historic Calhoun County Fairgrounds, 720 Fair Street in Marshall.

This longstanding fundraiser supports the 4-H and Youth Animal Barns at the fairgrounds. The event showcases vintage cars, motorcycles, and campers while bringing together enthusiasts, families, and visitors from across the region.

Early registration is now open, and the first 200 registered participants will receive a commemorative 40th Anniversary Koozie, dash plaque, and goodie bag.

The weekend will feature an impressive display of over 300 classic vehicles, over 20 vintage campers, food vendors, craft vendors, a swap meet, prize giveaways for participants, 50/50 raffle, and family-friendly activities throughout the fairgrounds.

Event Schedule:

Thursday, July 2 | 5:00–8:00 p.m.
The festivities begin with a kickoff gathering at Riverside Pub, 405 W. Pearl Street, Marshall. Attendees can enjoy vintage vehicle displays, food specials, and on-site registration for the Cruise. Cars will be out and about downtown after registering and enjoying the early evening.

Friday, July 3 | Beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Activities move to the Calhoun County Fairgrounds, 720 Fair Street, Marshall, MI for participant check-in and show case of classic vehicles and vintage campers. Cars will be cruising around the fountain and parked downtown on their own after 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 4 | Beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The celebration continues with final registrations, vehicle judging, vendor displays, prize giveaways, custom awards presentations, a large raffle drawing, and the final 50/50 drawing. Activities conclude at 2:30 p.m., allowing participants and visitors to enjoy Independence Day celebrations throughout Calhoun County and beyond while commemorating America's 250th birthday.

Veterans and Active-Duty Military receive FREE gate admission with a valid military ID.
• $15.00 to register your first vehicle, $10 for the second (same owner)
• $5.00 at the Gate (13 years and over)
• FREE Parking!
