I’ve always encouraged my kids to make art! My youngest will usually sit with me while I work and she will draw. I allow her to experiment with my materials, she especially loves watercolor pencils. On this day 3 of my kiddos sat with me while I was working. My son was sitting that the other end of the table drawing a duck. 🖤

Every spring I have these stunning flowery trees in my yard! A light pink and a dark pink one. I look forward to seeing them every year. They bloom for only a few days and then gone until the next spring. I always find it beautiful when the petals begin to fall and collect in the mud puddles.

Who is in to ACEOs? ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Orginals. They are 2.5x3.5 which is the standard baseball card size. Recently there has been a spike in people collecting them. There is a large ACEO community on eBay and Etsy. They average about $4 with some higher and some lower. This is a cost effective way to collect art and have an orginal piece of art.

As a fiber artist I wasn’t able to participate in ACEOs because traditionally they are paintings or small collages. With my new adventure into watercolor I’ve been excited in being able to make some of my own!

🍓My strawberry is a work in progress, I am waiting for it to dry before moving to the next step.
