Marquette Folk Dancers All are welcome to join us for partner and nonpartner dances with an emphasis on European dance. Join us for partner and nonpartner dances. every Friday.

The Marquette Folk Dancers have been dancing each Friday evening, 7:00 - 9:00 at the Dance Zone, SW corner of College Avenue and Lincoln Streets, Marquette. All are welcome - beginners, no partner needed. Please take clean smooth bottomed shoes along to protect the beautiful floor - and save your knees, too!! The Marquette Folk Dancers have been taking a COVID break. Stay tuned, please. When the COVID numbers are way down, we will get back together, and we can't wait to see everyone again!!

Greeting Friends. The Marquette Folk Dancers generally meet each Friday at 7:00 pm; however, we will NOT meet on these Fridays: June 2, July 7, July 14, and July 21. Come and dance with us on any of the other Fridays. On July 21, please join us at the Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival which is held at the Tourist Park in Marquette.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year to everyone from the Marquette Folk Dancers!!

We're MOVING: The Marquette Folk Dancers, beginning January 6, 2017, will meet at the Women's Center, 1310 S. Front Street. We meet weekly Fridays at 7:00 p.m. For the rest of December 2016, however, we'll meet at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (use the parking lot entrance at High and Arch). Hope to see you there. Bring soft-soled shoes and dress comfortably for exercise. Beginners and visitors are always welcome!!

The Marquette Folk Dancers will again be dancing at Marquette's annual Halloween Spectacle 2016 on Saturday, 10/29, 6 to 8 pm in downtown Marquette. Hope to see you there!!

Hi Folks. This coming weekend, July 22, 23, and 24, 2016, is the Annual Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival at the Tourist Park in Marquette. The Marquette Folk Dancers' Friday night dancing will be canceled, and we're hoping to see you at the Festival instead! The Friday night weekly dancing will resume on Friday, July 29 at 7:00 p.m.
